This is a great device that cleand and dries well. Its small. but suitable for my daughter who live alone. I have marked 4 star for VFM as you can but a larger slimline unit for pretty much the same price. Of course If she had the space we would have done that so happy to pay the price. There are cheaper units available but mostly chinese imports. This was well packaged, and a breeze to install. I had a power socket and a water connection available. Including moving a shelf in a cupboard it was running in 20 mins. needs a 60cm wide cupboard which gives a 5mm clearence either side. I needed to remove the back of the cupboard which may be the case for all. Lots of programs to choose from but like most people we settled on the 1.5 hour one and thats likely where it will stay.

This little dishwasher is a total game changer.It is brilliant,cheap to run,good value for money.Wish I had got one years ago.When we had our children at home we had a full-sized dishwasher.This works just aswell and you use it to suit your needs.Had no problem with plates or anything.An absolute godsend.

This is the 4th one of these dishwashers we have bought over the last 8 years or so.
They are great for their size and this one with the digital display is an upgrade on previous versions.
One thing to bear in mind is that all the previous ones we have had have stopped working after 18-30 months, so 2 years on average. We keep buying them because the size is perfect for what we want and there aren’t many alternatives (most are just rebranded versions of the same machine).
We have bought the extended waranty this time, which I would never usually do, so we will be covered for 3 years at least.

Really good little dishwasher. Perfect if you’re short on space. Looks good in black. Installation was easy, just plumb it in & away you go. Good few different programmes. Performance is really good, everything has come out spotless so far. It’s not too noisy. Overall, very good value for money & worth it.

My new Russell Hobbs Compact Dishwasher cleans well, takes all of my plates and cutlery. Large plates, just slant them slightly, the knives also. I can have it on after dinner when I’m watching the TV, it’s so quiet! I wouldn’t be without this dishwasher, I love it!

Due to the design of my kitchen and the fact it has a soil pipe going along one wall, it soon became obvious that fitting in a full size Dishwasher was an impossibility.
After doing a bit of research I decided to order the Russell Hobbs 6 Place Settings. I knew from the beginning I was going to get it fitted into a cupboard and plumbed in, so the colour made no difference to me. I ordered the Silver one as it was cheaper. It arrived promptly and sat for a couple of weeks in the box waiting to be fitted.
After reading the instructions, please do as you need to set the hardness of the water for your area ( I live in a really hard water area), you also need to set the rinse aid at the correct number – now here is my only criticism, the numbers are inside not outside of the rinse aid cap – come of RH lets keep it simple put the numbers where they can be seen when putting the cap back on!!
Now for the actual working of the Dishwasher – it is really quiet, the only time I really hear it is when it bleeps to let me know it is finished. There are various programmes and the booklet breaks down each programme so that you pick the best one I have photocopied and laminated mine and placed on top of the dishwasher for easy reference. There is also a time delay – I set mine for when the Westerly facing solar panels start working so I am not paying for electric from the grid. You can easily pause and change the programme if you have got it wrong and it is early enough into the programme, The dishwasher will turn itself off after a certain amount of time has passed once ended. Cleaning the filters are easy as is topping up the salt and rinse aid.
In the beginning, you need to be patient and get the dishwasher to work exactly how you want for example on my first wash it did not dry the dishes completely-refer to the Troubleshooting page, and there is the answer, second wash worked a treat. RH even show you the best way to load your dishwasher, I love this dishwasher and it certainly makes a difference.
Would I recommend – YES, as long as you manage your expectations about how much will fit in it at any one time this little number is a diamond

I purchased the Russell Hobbs RHTTDW6B Freestanding Compact Dishwasher, and while it performs well, I was disappointed with how it was delivered. The dishwasher arrived with a noticeable dent and scratches on the exterior, as you can see in the attached photo.
The packaging wasn’t sufficient to protect it during transit, and the delivery service clearly didn’t handle it with care. Despite the damage, I decided to keep the dishwasher because it functions as expected. The Eco mode is efficient, and it handles 6 place settings with ease.
However, I strongly suggest that the packaging and delivery process be improved to prevent this from happening to other customers. It’s a decent product, but the poor delivery experience was a letdown.
