Rohan –
I researched all tumble dryers before deciding on this one. Wanted a simple cheap vented dryer but also avoid any brand connected to the recent fire scares. Amica dryers are made in Poland but don’t let that put you off. Yes it’s a budget model but so far it has performed great, it appears well made and runs quieter than I was expecting. There are multiple drying programmes to choose from, probably more than you will ever need. I tend to just set 60 minutes and a half load comes out bone dry. It beeps a bit annoyingly whenever you select a programme but this option can be turned off. Overall I’m very happy with this dryer and it comes with a two-year guarantee for peace of mind.

This was to replace a very ageing White Knight Tumble. It has many more features than any other older model would have and seems to work very well after several months of use. It has a very sensitive “fluff filter detector” that stops it working at the merest hint of lint out of the filter but then I like this at the moment, I would rather it ere on the side of caution as that is one of the reasons I wanted a modern replacement. It has a large capacity and is actually much quieter than my old one. All in all excellent value.

I purchased this tumble dryer after my old integrated Lamona tumble dryer stopped working.
The tumble dryer is quiet (so quiet that I thought it had turned itself off), has loads of great features including an auto-detect on drying times which means my the dryer stops once it detects the clothes are dry. I’m yet to try out all the features as I’ve just been using the mixed materials cupboard dry programme, but that works incredibly well and I like the timer.
Absolutely amazing for the price and well worth buying. The delivery was easy and the delivery men delivered it into the kitchen, unpacked it and took away the packaging.

I was looking for a cheap but effective dryer and this does the job perfectly. It was simple to install and came with everything that was needed to get it up and running. It is quite a narrow washer however can fit a full wash in easily.
A 50 minute cycle dries an average wash for my household and there is a wide range of drying options including refresh, delicates and intensive options. It is easy to empty the lint filter.
Mrs Anni Brewer –
Amica Tumble dryer has worked for us now for 1,5 years and we are very pleased. It is roomy, the fluff filter is comfortably in front and is easy to clean. Programmes are simple to set and we have found it dries clothes well to the specified dryness, usually ‘cupboard dry’ for us. Even though it often displays the estimated drying time in the beginning quite long, it stops much earlier, as soon as its sensors indicate the clothes have reached the desired dryness. We have found it economical enough.
What was first a little worrying, the body measurement from front to back, depth, was a little too deep as the corner, where the air outlet leaves the machine was cramped. The air tube would need at least 10-15 cm room behind the machine, but respectively the 7 kg drum capacity needs some space inside the machine, too. So we managed to wiggle it in its place and had to accept that it sticks out from under the standard sideboard. The noise level is acceptable, our old British made one was much noisier. We recommend Amica warmly.

I’ve always used a dial tumble dryer which have all ended up with dial issues (not counting down) so I elected for a digital one. The dryer is easy to use, drys good and since I’ve had it, I don’t get static on my clothes. Love it and recommended.

Drys clothes quickly. Pretty quiet. Lots of settings.
