Pleased with my vacume. Picks up well,light to use. Easy to empty. Only thing I’ve noticed is lead not very long. But for the price a good little vacume.

This is quite a basic vacuum cleaner. Not much manoeuvrability. If you have a large room you will have to keep unplugging it and re-plugging it into a different socket as the lead isn’t that long, also the lean enters the cleaner at the bottom so you have to watch you don’t keep stepping on it. The suction tube that enters the cleaner at the head keeps coming off whilst you are using it and it’s very annoying. Also no actual cleaning wand, you have to use the tube with a small attachment on the bottom which means you have to bend almost double to use it. No lift off function so cleaning stairs is a balancing act and not good suction. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it. A big disappointment.

Very good light but sturdy, great suction, long hose and cable, massive dust, hair cylinder, not so good on German shperd moult but the do molt 50 weeks a year, had too return got Athena pet one instead.. Same but. Pet hair tool nice touch for stairs, good price, easy too empty and clean both, same vacum but tool a plus

I’ve tried my fair share of hoovers and after reading the reviews on here I decided to go with this Russell Hobbs hoover.
It’s fairly decent, has a good pick up, does the job and is light weight. It is fairly easy to move around.
I find the cord length to be short, also the brush makes a little noise and because of that I feel like the pick up isn’t great. It’s budget friendly but I’m not sure how long this will last me if I’m honest.

This vacuum replaced a 1800watt Tesco model. My wife wanted the new one to be lighter, which influenced my decision. Overall I’m very pleased with it so far. Uses 800watts, but the suction is significantly superior. It is noticably both lighter and quieter than the predecessor, and the upright handle flexes side to side as well as for & aft, making cleaning around furniture easier. Easy to empty and clean. There are two filters in the top of the cyclone tube, a hard corrugated filter which is washed clean monthly and a circular foam insert. This certainly traps fine particles and needs knocking clean at each emptying, as well as monthly wash. I hope I can buy more of these, as they will fray fairly quickly. The hose is not very long. but easy to use. A twin ended crevice / brush tool was provided, which is unremarkable. Overall it is light, powerful and easy to use, so pleased to recommend. Correction: It has been pointed out that the Athena 2 is a 400w cleaner, which from my perspective makes it’s cleaning power all the more impressive. Have yet to source more circular foam filter inserts, but I remain very satisfied with this vacuum cleaner.
