Really disappointed that I am buying from Amazon.com.au and the product is from England and not suitable for the Australian plug socket. This should be highlighted in BIG BOLD TYPING.
What a waste of money.
Now I have to buy an adaptor/ or get the plug converted or buy a new toaster.

After 15 years, my old toaster was finally, toast. I order this Morphy Richards one because it’s a reputable brand name, and I really liked that it wasn’t a boring silver, but a cool cream-colour.
I got it, and the first thing I had to do was get a small extention lead as the lead on the toast is insanely short.
Then.. I discovered that, like my old cheepo one, there was no function to extend the bread up higher so you could grab toasted crumpets or other smaller things. This, in spite of the fact that it is much larger than I would have expected it to be.
It’s a bare bones basic toaster with no features. And it does indeed toast. the sides stay cool, the top gets very very hot, so when you’re trying to grab your small crumpets, you will likely burn yourself. The only way to get small-bread-items out is to use the lever to try and catapult them out and grab them in mid-air .

I wanted a matching toaster and kettle that wasn’t in a plastic housing and the Morphy Richards Equip range ticket those boxes – I love the red chrome colour, the photos don’t do it justice as it is much more vibrant in person! I struggle for counter space in my relatively small kitchen so needed a compact toaster and this one is perfect for that as there is no unnecessary bulk. It fits slices of regular sized bread in fine and toasts it evenly, the temperature control is fine and not too sensitive. However I will say that because it is a smaller toaster you can’t get a full slice of a larger bread in like a tiger loaf, this is just a minor inconvenience but is why I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. The crumb tray is located at the back of the toaster which isn’t the easiest access point but nothing to complain about really. I’m really happy with this purchase after much deliberating and I’m happy I don’t need to think about different toasters and kettles anymore!

It is a good toaster that gives the option to use thin or thick bread, the slot size is good it is easy to lift the toaster if needed. It is giving all round toasting so the bread comes out perfectly cooked. The heat is perfect for all round toasting. It is extremely easy to clean due to the pull out drawer which catches the crumbs

I wanted a new toaster that actually fits full slices of tiger bread and this toaster does so well. I’d say it fits about 95 percent of a slice of tiger bread, depends on the slice really.
In terms of actually toasting the bread I’d recommend turning the heat knob to about halfway if you’re using thicker slices, even on normal bread I would say don’t have it on full power.
One aspect I’m not keen on is the lever mechanism, there’s been a few times where it just hasn’t stayed down, the toaster does require the power to be on for it to lock the bread in place but it’s been fine for the most part.
Overall this is a decent toaster, easy to use and the heat level knob makes for easy toasting of whatever is appropriate for your type of bread.

Assez déçu : design pas terrible, quand c’est prêt, on ne dispose pas de la possibilité de remonter un peu pour attraper le pain, le clic est un peu bruyant quand c’est prêt. ça peut sembler anodin mais j’ai racheté cette marque car j’étais très satisfait d’un précédent modèle qui a duré bien longtemps. celui ci n’est pas à la hauteur
