I love the compact footprint, it’s simple to use, has a flexible variety of functions which all work well and give efficient mixing but compared to larger heavier mixers, the whole machine judders a bit with thicker mixtures at some speeds – this was rather disconcerting so I deducted a star, but doesn’t seem to affect the overall efficiency. I found it incorporated all the ingredients well without me having to scrape the sides of the bowl and It was easy to clean. All in all, for less than £100 it’s good value and doesn’t hog too much space in my rather small kitchen.

Not too many competitors when looking for a solid mixer. The Kenwood is a bit plastic-y but has a powerful motor and good set of accessories. Best innovation is a small rubber gasket to keep flour out of the motor bearings (something the Kit***A*d doesn’t come with leading to premature bearing failure x 2). Good buy and good price.

I love that its easy to use, compact and robust. The ‘Ken Pro’ does its job at the will of everyone in my family; kids, husband and even I haven’t broken it yet! It’s easy to clean and willing to work manner make it a perfect kitchen entity and takes the work out of making eclairs. Hubby loves the extra attachments we bought to make his concoctions and I have confidence in its smart safety features that my youngest (10yr) can use it; like a pro. So pleased we bought our little Ken.

Since trying to cut out ultra processed food I now make my own cakes and puddings. I use the whisk attachment to whip cream for trifle and the beater attachment for crumble, I’ve also used this mixer to made fruit and sponge cakes. It is more than adequate for my needs, the plastic guard stops flour and liquids from splattering at high speed, it looks smart on my worktop and is very easy to keep clean. I bought on interest free instalments, I love it and can highly recommend

Always used kenwood mixers, this was gift to myself 2nd one bought gifted last one to family member, mixing is great no scraping bottom of bowl as it mixes right to the bottom and the sides too turns on an angle so nothing is missed, brilliant for all types of mixing , added bonus of a lid for bowl so icing sugar etc does not decorate kitchen when mixing, variable speeds, and has 3 different hook attachments, I honestly think it is great, looks good on worktop too…

If you are buying this for Dough, avoid this as all costs, ignore those stars. It shakes and will get broken or burnt in 1 week. avoid avoid avoid and trust me
