As advertised, although the stand is very fiddly to put together. Good sound and picture quality

I decided to buy this product during Black Friday week after reviewing several other models and vendors. I bough it from AO.com using Amazon Market place. This was a mistake. At the time of purchasing, the TV was eligible for Samsung’s free warranty extension to 5 years. But NOT if bought through Amazon Marketplace.
Having said that, the quite heavy stand was easily assembled and fitted to the TV. The picture is very good but the sound is only average. If you’ve watched reviews of QN90D sets on YouTube, you might think there are 5 or 6 screen modes, on the 43″ and probably the 50″ there only 3 but these can be adjusted through settings.
Although adverts for the set do not say that it is Freeview and Freesat capable, the connections on the back of the set might lead you to thing that it does have Freesat. It doesn’t, these are for cable, otherwise it is Freeview only.
I am very satisfied with my purchase but it is expensive and it might be worthwhile waiting until the price drops.

I’m very happy with this TV and I would recommed it.
Arrived in the timeframe given, box and iteam wasn’t damaged.
I was looking for a gaming tv, as I prefer gaming on a tv than a monitor.
The tv does what it says, it can do 120hz with a ps5, see pictures.
Very bright and colourful.
I found it easy to set up as I already have another samsung tv. So it automatically set up all my account like youtube without having to resign in.
You can use it with the smart things app
Size is prefect for the room. I do find it a struggle now to find smaller tvs that are good quality.

Good picture very responsive

A brilliant picture, great colours, only problem was the volume control had a mind of its own.
Whilst watching a quiet sequence volume went up to maximum, returned.

Nice and clear picture, great colours. Sound quite good.
Why do all manufacturers try to second guess what I want, and so fail to give me a simple user interface. Ai is blinking useless, Samsung TV is not a real development, the product could be so much better if it were a simple TV product, and none of the nonsense Samsung have put in it, that I now have to navigate. Totally irritating. As soon as I can find a way around it I will use it.
Amazon Customer –
Pros
Fantastic contrast for deep blacks in a dark room.
Incredible reflection handling makes it suitable for a bright room.
Superb SDR brightness.
Excellent response time for minimal blur behind fast motion.
Cons
Narrow viewing angle means the image degrades when viewed from the sides of the screen.

I have always been a laggard when buying TVs and have always opted for quality 18 months down the line for great prices. Those old Panasonic plasma TVs are still going strong. Went budget though for our main TV last time during COVID and it’s been awful so went all in on this one. What an upgrade!
The picture is stunning and as long as you have all your app passwords ready it’s just a dawdle to set up. Love it so much it’s now going into the bedroom as we were conservative with the size and we actually bought too small.
In addition we have just bought the 50″ version for the lounge instead.
We are older and have the sound set to amplify and it sounds as good as the old crt TVs used to sound.
Using the remote is simple too when you get used to it.
For movies we use Bluetooth to our Zen Bluetooth unit which connects to our vintage hi fi system which just adds to the experience. Brilliant all round.
