The most amazing TV you could ever want but you need to ensure you put in what you want out IE HD 4K otherwise you will be upset

I have auditioned the Sony A95L and the LG G4 before deciding on the G4. Both give a stunning picture after calibration, but I prefer G4’s features such as four full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports and a centrally mounted tabletop stand.
You cannot go wrong with this TV. My only criticism is the plastic remote control, LG needs to make a metal one with better ergonomics and a premium feel.

Probably……

Very pleased with the TV. But trying to activate the guarantee was a bit of con. The first month would be free but then you would have to pay monthly. Absurd!

The picture is a little better than my old Sony tv but I am still tweaking the tv as there are so many things that you can tweak. I am having a little problem with my headphones as I have a LG sound bar and trying to get the head phones to open automatically when the sound bar is switched off is something I have not yet solved.

Fantastic TV, the picture on 4K is stunning and SD is very good. I had thought of getting the G5 as it is supposed to be a bit brighter but this is more than bright enough even too much in some ways especially in HDR at night time. The sound is surprising better than I had expected.
I previously had a Pioneer plasma screen which had lasted 20 years and was still a very good picture. I couldn’t decide whether to keep it or get the LG but I’m glad I did as the LG blows the old plasma out of the water.

OK, so this is my first OLED Tv and I have been impressed with the picture quality. Sharp and vibrant, and it’s exactly what I hoped for. However, after a few days, we started noticing that for maybe half a second, the screen goes entirely black before flashing back to the programme. No impact on sound. This happens regularly, perhaps a few times an hour. Not what I expected from a £1,600 TV.
Speaking with Amazon, they suggested removing and refitting the HDMI cables from the TV and the source which had no effect. I then spent £50 on new high rated 8k HDMI cables, but the problem continued. Amazon passed me to the seller, who passed me back to Amazon as Amazon had fulfilled the order. They’re coming to pick it up in 10 days, which gives me 9 days to find a replacement… Frustrating.
