First of all, the dimensions aren’t what it states in the description. I chose to buy the machine with a 1600 rpm spin which you can change in the options, but no dimensions come up, so I thought it would be the same as the same machine with a 1400rpm spin. It shows the machine is supposed to be 58cm in depth, ours is 67cm in depth, and our worktop is 60cm depth, so it sticks out 7cm which is quite annoying. Anyway, back to the machine…I’ve replaced this machine from a Bosch which was expensive, and this machine is much better to use, it’s very quite and does do 15 mins quick washes as well. It looks great too. Overall I’m so pleased, and decided to keep it, just a little annoyed by the dimension problem.

Dimensions are a lie. We picked this washing machine because it was slimmer than others however the width is the standard size of 56cm wide instead of 55 as advertised.

I would have given this 5 stars because it is so quiet. However, the programmes don’t work as they’re supposed to. If I run a standard cotton load, the timer says 1:22. After ten minutes, it then increases this to 3:22! I’m told it weighs the load and adjusts accordingly. However, if I run the exact same load, but change either the default temperature or the default spin speed, it doesn’t do this; it runs a 1:22 cycle. It makes no sense at all.

This is one of the best washers I have bought, so quiet washing, some really fast programs on and the spin is the near silent, actually had to check if it was spinning, uses less electric than previous belt driving washer. Highly recommend this.
With it been a bigger drum it slightly sticks out more than a normal washer but that’s understandable and would not put me off buying it again.
Also looks more expensive than it actually is, and the build quality is better than other washers it’s a solid washer.
I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this machine.
And I highly recommend it.
Just a update, had it a few weeks now and even tho very impressed with the washer the spin drying let’s it down the 1600 spin doesn’t spin very long and every wash does need a extra spin, (jeans and towels) or they take ages to dry.

Buying a washing machine is a bit of a minefield, but after some to-ing & fro-ing and reading of reviews we settled on this Haier 9kg load 1600 spin because it had a reasonable price, decent energy ratings and other features we wanted. Unpacking, fitting & levelling were straightforward & it comes with a water hose and even tools to remove the transit bolts. So far so good then. Using it has been a bit of a learning curve because (fairly obviously) the programmes are all different to the old washer, but it’s been a few months now so I’m just about used to it. It’s easy enough to use even if the instructions are a bit basic – and that’s not a criticism because that seems to be common across brands of washing machines. Laundry comes out clean and fresh after a cycle and fairly dry even on lower spin speeds. I particularly like that wash times aren’t horrendously long even on the “eco” wash, with “regular” washes taking under two hours and the “eco” around three-and-a-bit for a full load. Even on full spin this machine is extremely quiet and it doesn’t bounce about either, though I did make sure that it was level. It came with lengths of vibration pad to prevent movement but I’ve not needed to use them. So far then I’m very pleased with my choice and find this Haier washing machine to be really very good.

Received it two days late which I wasn’t too pleased about as had a stack of washing so an early review that I shall update. Starting with the negatives, manual is poorly written with minimal information, will have to google the detail of what each wash setting is. There is no sheet for the initial set up of the washing machine, just minimal writing in the manual. The drain hose is far too short annd is on the right, the wrong side for me. Sadly for some this would mean either adding an extension hose or sending back. The power cable is also too short. Both made installing it in position very tricky.
Positives are that it looks good and should be easy to use. It washes well and is very quiet.
Update is that it lasted 10 days. Repeatedly kept getting E4 error code, checked water feed and repositioned drain hose and still got the code which would pause the cycle. Made life challenging. Sent it back for a refund.
