If idve thought about the purchase beforehand I’d’ve known i wouldn’t be able to use them. Why? My washer wasnt free standing, it was under a counter. You cannot lift a washer alone when it sits under a counter top.:(( Stupidity. A lesson learned.

Bought these to stop washing machine dancing out from under counter during spin cycle and they certainly do make a vast difference. Initially pulled machine out and placed the mats under the feet then discovered it wasn’t going to slide back under the counter in a million years!!! What worked in the end was getting a damp washing up sponge, squirting a small amount of washing up liquid on it, then applying it to the sides of the mats that would be in contact with the floor. It all slid in quite easily after that and hasn’t moved since the mats dried. No more dancing washing machine!

I bought this item though it’s intended for use with a washing machine or tumble dryer, to actual sit under my desktop PC as sometimes if under load and the fans are spinning up my wife has said she can hear it downstairs vibrating through the floor. These strips are great for this and there have been no more complaints about noise since using them.
I gave this product 3 stars because it arrived stinking of cigarette smoke and the matts had absorbed that smell and just continue to emit the smell back into whatever room they’re in. It so bad it makes the room smell like someone is currently smoking in there, and that’s before turning on my PC where the fans don’t help with propelling the smell around. This is not ideal as they are triggering my wife’s Asthma it’s that bad. As they’re rubber they are currently in the garage in a bucket of water and bicarb to try and drain the smell but it’s not going without a fight.

It does cut back on some noise and vibration and would probably work better if we could get them fitted properly. Where the machine sits made it impossible to fit them properly. Ended up with one across the front. Probably best to put in place before hooking up the machine.

After six months of living in my first floor apartment, I have discovered these. My kitchen is a suspended floor above a courtyard with laminate flooring. Depending on the load, my washing machine went from being noisy to absolutely violent. After spending an hour recently, wrestling with the machine, gently trying to coax it back into position while stopping it attacking the kitchen units each side, I decided enough was enough. Lots of research later, I decided to try these as I thought they may be easier to install than other options and I live alone. On a laminate floor or similar, of you can tilt the machine by four or five millimetres, then you can slide these from front to back. If you can’t tilt then it may be tougher bit I did these on my own. I can now watch TV, sit in the same room and not have to reposition the items on the bathroom bathroom shelves next door now. I don’t know what I am going to do with myself. These are basically two heavy duty rubber strips…about 5m thick which slide under the feet of your machine. That’s it, but they work!

So just brought a new high end washing machine to replace a mid price digital motor one. Found it to walk a little no matter how I levelled it. Having brought these I can say that it has worked very well. These are fairly dense rubber strips, placed under the machine. I have a tilled floor and the machine sits under the countertop, so the best way I found to get the machine back under the counter was to mix a few drops of washing liquid in water in a spray bottle. Sprayed the floor and the pads liberally and I found the machine slide back pretty easily. After 24hrs or less the water has dried and the machine is solidly stuck to the rubber sheets in the floor. There is a little vibration but you will get that. Most importantly, no walking and the machine is much quieter. Definitely recommend them 👍

Works well, its not eliminated the washing machine vibration but really has helped, glad we purchased. would recommended for washing machine vibration control.
