It is too intelligent for its own good! Family of 4 – standard wash is 4HOURS!!!
Who has the time in a weekend to have a 4 HOUR wash!
Why? – 11kg drum apparently!! Oh yeah you get great capacity but my last Samsung (which we have had for years until the well reported PCB issue) did that in 1 hr and 10 mins!!
No override – no way round it! (Quick wash is 15 mins but that’s not practical for an everyday wash!)
I regret buying this machine! Bring back the dumb machines when you just filled them up and YOU could decide the wash cycle!!
You have been warned – highly rated by Which but kinda useless in real life!

I received it with faulty shaking, the customer service responded and sent me technical guy to fix it , quality of responding to the customer what gives good impression about the company

I didn’t own it for more than a few minutes because it came damaged from transit. From what I saw it seemed cheap and flimsy. I swapped to a Bosch and I don’t regret it!

I regret to inform potential buyers that my experience with this Samsung washing machine has been far from satisfactory. Initially, I had high hopes, especially given the Which score, but the machine’s performance has been a series of letdowns.
Firstly, there’s an inexplicable issue with the machine’s timer. It bizarrely turns itself off momentarily, only to restart with additional time added to the wash cycle. For instance, I set a wash at 7 am, expecting it to be done in 1 hour and 30 minutes, as indicated. However, to my dismay, it was still running at 11 am, with an hour still to go.
Additionally, the machine is distressingly noisy. The drum emits loud banging noises during operation, raising concerns about its build quality and durability. This racket is far from what one would expect from a modern, supposedly sophisticated appliance.
To compound these issues, the machine’s door leaks at the bottom. This fault, in particular, is quite alarming, given that it’s a basic expectation for any washing machine to be watertight.
What makes these issues even more frustrating is that they’ve all surfaced within just 30 days of ownership. The fact that a brand-new machine would exhibit such problems is frankly unacceptable. This experience has left me questioning the quality control and reliability of Samsung’s appliances.
In conclusion, I would advise potential buyers to approach this model with caution. The Samsung WW11BBA046AWEU, in its current state, fails to live up to the expectations set by its brand name and price point.

I have to admit that this is the worst washing machine we have had. We bought it for the size of the drum, 11 kg. So it’s a big machine, and very heavy. Yet when I installed it the structure of the machine struck me as weak and not sturdy like our previous Bosch machine. Like the drum motion and suspension felt flimsy. Sorry for name dropping Bosch by the way, but I do miss our previous machine. So, in terms of good – it seemed to wash pretty well, and dried well. It was not noisy. But it did break after about 300 uses or so, or 14-15 months. The drum has got stuck and the belt came off. I’ve been told by people that know such machines (not Samsung though) that it’s likely it’s the ‘drive shaft’ of the drum that’s faulty. The belt came off because the drum was not moving. Indeed the drum is near enough stuck if I try to move it. Looking inside the machine and moving the drum mechanism about – it all feels really flimsy and weak – like it will break. I’m no engineer but that’s just the feel of the machine. And it’s broken. Let’s not start talking about Samsung technical support and customers services – it’s the worst experience I have had in my life talking to a company representative on the phone. Another level of unhelpfulness and time wasting.. apparently someone is now going to call me to come out and repair it. It will end up with a new machine though. One that I do not want. So the overall experience with this machine and Samsung means that it’s a big ‘don’t buy’ for me. Frankly, the phone call I had with Samsung today has put me off the brand too- maybe that’s a bit feeble of me. Maybe other people have had completely different experiences with them too, so it’s please don’t take my word for it.

Having used the usual of washing machines, Hoover, Indesit, Candy etc, I got tired of their noise and unreliability. So, I spent a few more pennies and purchased this Samsung.
It’s a fantastic machine. So quiet. The boiling kettle makes more noise than this on full 1400rpm spin!
I use the Mixed Fabric cycle as it suits my needs, but I have used other programs. Excellent results.
Although it’s a max 1400rpm spin garments come out drier than our previous 1500rpm spin Hoover machine. This machine comes with a 2-year parts and labour guarantee but is extended to 5 years if you register it online. An excellent buy.
