It’s a good machine: quiet, washes really well, efficient, has many programs with the possibility to adjust parameters, looks good, great automatic detergent dispenser function, etc. We haven’t tried dryer yet, but the washer is great.

Broke after a year, and trying to get it repaired through Amazon has been a nightmare, impossible. No replacement no refund, one month now without a washing machine as a disabled person. Dealing with Samsung is also proving to be impossible. The machine is ok when it works but clearly not super reliable due to pump failure in my machine within 2 years.
Amazon customer service I spoke to denied any retailer accountability and Samsung told me I’ll be charged to repair a product that is still under warranty (5-year parts and labour) and protected under the Consumer Rights Act.
Save yourself a massive headache on all fronts and look for something more reliable, service and product.

Decided to take the plunge and buy this after a year and a half of having a beko washer dryer we had no end of issues either it, chiefly it taking forever to dry clothes and then breaking.
The Samsung is absolutely outstanding. It is so quiet, numerous features and has a decent capacity. There is no rocking about and the clothes dry perfectly every time. The connectivity with the Samsung SmartThings app is brilliant and I love the auto dispense of detergent and fabric softener a the ability to adjust amounts based on water hardness and concentration of the liquid. You can turn the auto dispense off to use powder or tablets but the only feature missing is like is to be able to set your custom programmes to not use auto dispense as certain washes we use sensitive laundry tablets instead so it a pain having to open the app to disable the auto dispense and then have to remember to re-enable it for the next wash. Other than that so far we’ve found it to be faultless.

The best washer dryer I’ve ever had. It really dries! I love that is weighs the washing and adjusts the time needed to dry accordingly, has lots of programs, is easy to use and really cleans! So glad I spent a little extra to get this one, it’s outstanding.

This is my initial review for the 9/6kg 1400rpm, White, WD90DG6B85BEU1 – most reviews on here are for the other model variants.
The first thing I noticed, is that the tinted door is actually a cover for a normal glass door.
So, if you’re someone who drops things, has kids, or is otherwise likely to bang against the outside, be mindful that it looks like it could scratch easily.
Secondly, be prepared to buy a waste hose extender – I did not need one for my previous machine, but this one left me about 20cm short of reaching the outlet (which is to the left of the machine). If your outlet is on the right, you may have more leeway.
Thirdly, it smells – it’s common for new appliances to ‘off-gas’ when they are new, but this is quite strong. I am currently running a third load with vinegar to try to get rid of the smell – but I have no idea how many more I will need.
