Good machine from Hoover. It has a good choice of programs. The quality of components seems a little cheap and the 1600 spin is louder than expected but otherwise I’m pleased. It would be nice if it auto turned off after use but this is a minor grump. Time will tell if this proves a long term reliable option.

Works well so far, very noisy on 1600 spin. Drop down to 1400 and dry outside in warm weather. If my granny could wash and dry clothes in a rather huge belfast sink, with a ringer and dry outside in ‘The Close’ and then iron the rest or dry in front of a fire in cold weather then none of us should complain at all. We all have it too easy. 🙂

Washes well, everything nice and clean, plenty of features the steam function good, nice adjustable spin, temperature and water levels. Makes no sense to have WIFI as you still need to load the machine and it has a delay feature anyway. It dosen’t work with a smart plug or if you are prone to power cuts, the minute the power is off it loses the programming, so you return from work with either dry washing or half a programme completed. Buttons are very temperamental and the Wifi seems to interfere even when you are manually programming, so you need to restart all over again (3 times this morning which has prompted the review) Have disconnected the WIFI and its still iffy. Feet could do with more adjustment as even on full not enough to level with my kitchen units. Had the WIFI version as it was in stock, wish I’d of waited for the standard version definitely not worth the extra money.

Plenty of options on washes, very quite, the 1600 spin removes lots of water, on the heavier stuff like towels Brilliant things dry that much quicker. Register it and get the10 year parts warranty 1st Year is parts and Labour and your set really. At this moment very happy with its performance.

I ordered on a Fri. First delivery available was Tues. Tues morning I was informed by an Amazon email that my delivery was cancelled & rescheduled for Thurs, which I was not good as had booked the day off work to be there for the delivery. I was then sent several msgs stating I had chosen to cancel the delivery (apparently a system fault). On Thurs I awaited the call from delivery driver (states they call 30 mins before arriving) but no call received. That afternoon I hear a disturbance outside & see a tatty dirty white lorry blocking the road. Neighbours not happy as can’t drive past so think he may have been there a while (there was lots of free unrestricted parking on side of road directly opposite my door so no need for this). Delivery driver had already unloaded machine on to the kerb before checking I was in, which made me wonder where it may have been left if I hadn’t gone to the front door.
The delivery driver was rude when I tried to communicate with him. He smelt disgusting & wasn’t wearing any uniform. He literally dumped the washing machine in the doorway, refusing to move it into the hall or kitchen. Awful experience! 🙁
Called Amazon customer services to explain how unhappy I was, but they were really uninterested. Passed me to 3 different agents. The call lasted 45 mins. When I highlighted how unacceptable this experience had been from a customer point of view I was offered a £5 Amazon voucher. They put me on hold to discuss with their manager, then promptly cut off my call! No voucher or acknowledgement of the awful service received to date & that was 6 days ago!!!!!

delivery of hoover washing machine was on time the driver & mate were 1st class i did not have to ask them to carry washer into kitchen where do you want it they asked even lifted it up 3 steps thats a first washer installed & working in under 1 hour its brilliant very quiet lots of programs to chose from

Do not be fooled by the history of the name or the A rating. This is probably the worst appliance I have ever seen. Cheap is the only way to describe the quality. Even the dimensions are wrong it is 828 high not 820, required a major adjustment even to make it fit. The plastic is cheap, the buttons are cheap, the door catch is cheap. The spin is a lot louder than it claims. We measured out a 9kg load and there is no way you would get that in the drum. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. It gets one star because I have to select a star otherwise it would be zero.

What can I say about a washing machine other than it washes clothes. Simple enough to follow the instructions, happy with the quick wash features and the WiFi is a handy addition but i don’t find myself using it all too often.
