Wife wanted all black appliances and we chose this washing machine. She likes it. It has various programmes including a 60 minute wash. I’m sure it’s got more gadgets and gizmos than we will ever need, but the bottom line for us is that it’s quiet, it doesn’t try to walk across the floor when it’s spinning, and it cleans clothes well. Like I said – happy wife.

The glue they use to stick an advert over the door is a pig to remove. The first time use instructions in the manual are impossible to actually do. Once the programme “Eco 40/60” is selected the temperature cannot be adjusted to 90 C as 40 C and 60 C are the only choices then available. The washing machine though is pretty good.

Really nice design, really useful range of options, I was very happy with this purchase. BUT the door lock sensor broke after one year. Got it repaired and the technician said it’s a common fault because they don’t allow enough space for the wiring. Six months later and it’s broken again. Shall not be buying Russell Hobbs appliances again. I’d recommend you don’t either.

First off a note about the searching and buying process. I searched washer/drier and this was put in front of me. I bought it and only realised it was just a washer once they had delivered and installed it. For this reason we sent it back. Its my fault but stating this in case it happens to others.
The machine itself is great. Stylish, quiet and cleans well. I love the 15 min wash which gets things really clean. If it was what we were looking for I’d have definitely kept it and been pleased.
The delivery guys were great too. Respectful, professional and efficient.

Wow. What a bargain this has turned out to be. I’ve waited some time before reviewing this item to see how I got on with it. It’s all good ! It’s exactly as the description suggests and is a total workhorse, I don’t overload it but it’s constantly in use. The washing is beautifully clean and the spin cycle is not only quiet but very effective. There are plenty of wash cycles to choose from and very easy to operate. It’s easy to clean and looks fabulous… I’m so happy with this purchase.

We always purchase budget white goods as we see no point in paying extra for the things you will never use. It’s a bit like buying a car – who needs all these things they add these days which are of absolutely no use at all.
Well the machine was dead easy to install & works without having to read through a manual the size of “War & Peace” – do you actually know anyone that has ever read it?
