What an exceptional machine, and it really is so quiet. – The main noises come from the cold water snapping on and off, which is down to my plumbing, and the door unlocking at the end of the cycle.
And it’s very energy efficient, even on longer cycles, using just over 0.9kw/h on the 2+ hr synthetic cycle including an extra 1600-speed spin.
One thing I really like, and has always been something which irritated me on previous washers is that the door unlocks immediately the drum stops moving at the end of the program. – The door is a great size and just pulls open without having to press a latch.
I never expected to get such a quality machine for such a good price, and with such a wide range of programs, all of which can be tailored by simply pressing the relevant button for spin speed, temperature, extra rinse and the like.
I paid an extra £30 to have it installed and my old machine taken away which was money well spent. The technicians who do it were pleasant and efficient.
I highly recommend this machine. Definitely a 5* purchase.

I chose this machine for its appearance and the drum size, which is bigger than other washers that I have used before. Easy to use, has clear instructions. I strongly recommend ordering an installation service when you buy this. I didn’t and had to hire a plumber to install a 3/4-inch adaptor and waste pipe outflow thingy, but it was cheap. No problems with the machine at all, and the delivery men even brought it down the stairs for me.

Not had this for long. So far much happier with it than my previous Samsung. The fact that you can customise spin speed for all washes is great. Fast washes also good. Sooooo quiet I now use in evening, it’s on the kitchen and I didn’t use the Samsung while I was cooking as too noisy. One point it comes with under machine noise reducing felts but my Amazon installer told me they didn’t know what they were and didn’t attach them underneath my machine when they left I realised that they should have! Never mind it’s very quiet even without them. Has many programmes but I’m betting, like me, you will only use 3 of them .. or at a pinch 4. Will recommend to friends and family. Very happy (so far)
