Overall an unimpressive gadget. The basket is bowed on the inside which hampers insertion and removal of the supplied grill plate. The instruction booklet is a bit scant and includes 2 recipes which are impossible to follow. One, for chips made with actual potatoes, involves par boiling them first and then both require the chips, or the chicken wings, to be cooked ‘according to the times and temperatures shown in the settings table page’. However, neither chips from raw, nor chicken wings, are mentioned in the table(s).
