This is a very entry level basic air fryer.
2.5 Litre basket which is certainly aimed at cooking for two people at most.
The dials are very basic. The timer is actually an old school springer dial. If you watch the video, even though I have it unplugged you can hear the timer ticking down. There’s also no way to adjust the timer without forcing it to stop, or to adjust, especially for less versus more time. A nice simple idea but in today’s consumer market a little limiting, clumsy, and noisy.
The basket tray on mine doesn’t fit correctly. As per the photo, you can see it will not sit flush into the unit which is a little irritating. Plus the catch to secure it is woefully inadequate. Plus when placing the basket into the unit it doesn’t easily line up with that tab (see photo) unless you have the basket perfectly straight. Sounds easy but the entrance is large and the basket is initially small unit it hits the tab then you need to adjust to make sure it’s aligned then push it all in.
This is presently selling for £32.99 at the time of this review. If you’re not overly fussy, looking for a very basic cheap air fryer then this will do the job. I’m not overly convinced on this product and for a few pounds more there’s many premium brands on offer which I’m sure wont have the same faults.

Fineway Compact Airfryer
Firstly this Airfryer has a single draw with a 2 litre capacity not 2.5 litres as stated in the listing. It is therefore fairly small, it is also very basic with very simple controls but that combo will suit some people perfectly.
My mother has been after an Airfryer for some time but most of them are far too complicated for her to use so this one sounded perfect and the size is perfect for one person too.
The controls on this Airfryer consist of two manual dials, one controlling the temperature and one controlling the time so it is really very simple. As far as performance is concerned the results were really rather good. You do need to remember to add 3 minutes to the normal cooking time as this machine needs to be preheated.
The airfryer itself doesn’t look the best quality, it’s quite ‘plasticky’ really but for the price range I think it’s still pretty good and would be a good option for a single person / student etc. It would also be a good option if you wanted to try out airfrying for the first time rather than jumping straight in at the deep end with one of the more expensive main brand machines. This unit is also perfect for those with very small kitchens as it doesn’t take up too much counter space.

This is an ideal size for the single person it stops you cooking too much so easy to use should of invested in this long ago reasonably priced too

Bought this as a Christmas present for my mum. She seemed to like it but after a few weeks, one in the knobs just came loose and it can no longer be used. As this is a few days after the return window, we can’t do anything.

> It’s practically junk so I binned it, because I genuinely don’t think a charity shop would have accepted it
> The outside is made of cheap plastic. The 2.5L basket rarely shuts unless you angle it right and fidget with it
> The inside is small but it would’ve been perfect if you’re like me, and eat a single cheese pastry or a mini microwave pizza for lunch
(I know the metal plate in the basket is upside down in my video but I’m too lazy to record it again)

Be very careful about thinking this is bigger than it is. It is clearly marketed for one person, or very very small portions. It is not for doing the family meal on a Sunday. This will do a portion of chips between two people, roast a veggie portion, or cook some battered chicken. It’s not going to do a full meal. This is why it can be so compact and quick. It heats up in absolutely no time, and it’s very easy to use with the very ergonomic dials at the top. No more pressing and jabbing at a touch screen. It heats up extremely quickly because of its small size, and it has the exact same basket size as my silicone containers, so it’s very easy to clean for me as well. The sliding portion basket just moves in and out very comfortably, and the whole thing weighs nothing at all. It’s so lightweight. At the price point, it’s as cheap as a kettle, which is insane. Back when these came out they were quite expensive, and now they are accessible to everyone relatively, which is nice to see.
