It does a good job as an air fryer. If it was the first I had tried I would be impressed. The window allowing you to see what you are cooking is a nice feature. But I prefer the other models I bought myself, which are cheaper. I have owned and tried several. It is noisier than my other air fryers. I didn’t find a preheat function. I like to change the temp during cooking which I couldn’t seem to do with this one . With one of my cheaper air fryers I can go to a higher temp 230C and turn the temp and fan down so I can cook and bake like a normal oven, and also use to prove dough.

Quality build straight out the box as you would expect from Bosch this single drawer large capacity air fryer has all the features you would need in a compact clean design .
I already have 2 drawer and small single drawer air fryers which work well in this multi diet household. This one is good for those big vegetable roasts , joints of meat or just a larger family dish .
7 presets which cover standard fare and bread which I’m definitely going to try in the future , but we mostly set temperature and time manually and according to taste and preference.
I can’t see how to change this part way through cooking if needed , so set the timer to finish when it needs adjusting .
It’s not the quietest but manageable and I love that it’s illuminated from the inside so you can see the food cooking .
Easy to clean , non-stick ,washed by hand with little effort but can go in the dishwasher .
An extra star from the kids for how well it cooks home made pizza , no soggy bottoms , well cooked toppings and crispy edges .. yum

This air fryer is solidly built and thoughtfully designed, with just the right mix of practical features and clever extras.
The 7.2L capacity is generous – cooks for a family of four – yet the footprint doesn’t dominate the counter. The illuminated viewing window is genuinely useful, letting you keep an eye on things without letting out heat. The shake alarm is a nice touch too – no more guessing or overcooked chips.
Performance is excellent. Everything from chicken to Yorkshire puddings has come out evenly cooked, crisp and flavourful. The dual heating elements mean you don’t have to open and shake mid-cook, and it preheats almost instantly. We’ve had to adjust our timings from a previous fryer – the Bosch cooks noticeably quicker and more evenly.
Cleaning is hassle-free – the non-stick basket goes straight in the dishwasher. Controls are intuitive, and while we usually set temp and time manually, the presets are handy for quick starts.
Yes, it’s not the cheapest – but it feels built to last and looks the part too. If you want a quality, fuss-free air fryer that handles everything from chips to roasts with ease, this is an excellent choice.

This is my 2nd air fryer and has replaced a much loved and abused 7.6L Gourmia device. This Bosch device is, by any metric, a massive upgrade.
It’s a slightly smaller capacity by volume but the basket is wider and longer so, in fact, it will actually hold more food for each cook. The basket has a viewing window which is a fabulous feature and the light is easily activated to allow you to check on the progress of cooking.
Heat up is really quick, such that a preheat cycle isn’t required. We’ve had to learn how to use this fryer because with the old one pretty much everything went in at 200C for 20 minutes. The Bosch is much more efficient and lots of things are cooking faster, at lower temperatures.
The touch panel controls are intuitive and it’s easy to set the time and temperature and adjust them during the cook. Clean up is a doddle – everything goes in the dishwasher and comes out sparkling clean.
The fan is no louder than the hob extractor so it’s no drama to use, and the casing doesn’t get excessively hot. Heat isn’t radiated downwards significantly so I haven’t felt the need to protect the worktop when using this (we used to stand the Gourmia on a trivet). The temperature ranges from 40C up to 200C so, in theory, this can also be use as a dehydrator, though I’ve yet to try that.
I’m really happy with this air fryer, it looks very smart and stylish, comes from a trusted brand, and cooks effortlessly.

We have resisted jumping on the air fryer bandwagon but are now total converts! This is the quality you would expect from a brand like Bosch and is a good sized air fryer – for example we can cook a whole chicken in it – and the light up window makes it easy to keep an eye on what is cooking. We are still novices so are learning what works well in it and timings etc – the presets are a useful guide, but we are now experimenting with timings, but overall we are very impressed how things cook. And cleaning up is a breeze, with the basket able to go in the dishwasher.
