Bought this for my daughter at university to help her cook quick simple meals. After 15 minutes of the unit being on it exploded. The air fryer went bang and smoke started coming from the top right hand timer dial. Needless to say, I immediately told my daughter to unplug the unit open the windows and switch her extractor fan on. I have since been in contact with Amazon who are now opening an investigation in relation to the safety of this item. My advice would be to stay well clear of this item to avoid having a fire.

I’ve bought it in August 2023 and it finally stopped working. I’m not sure what happened, but it seems that something’s burning when I use it as there’s this awful smell coming from the inside of this air fryer. It doesn’t have as many options as the ninja air fryer, so if you’re looking for something really simple this one’s okay, but now I’m going to invest in something proper that will last me longer than 1.5 years.
