   As this is BPA free you do not get a plasticky tasting cuppa! Although this kettle is not branded it really looks like a more expensive model. Lightweight to handle looks great delicate blue lit illumination, quieter than a kettle I had previously that was 4 times the cost. I would 100% recommend this kettle. Enjoy ya brew! – UPDATE 22/2/25 although it switches on lights still come out n fails to boil! So like other reviews here I retract my previous comments, a poor quality do not buy!
   Successfully now refunded upon raising the issue with amazon & purchased a different make.

   I have had this kettle for three months, it was a bit slower to get water to the boil then previous kettles but other than that it was fine until it caused shortcircuited my house.

   The base saw a small explosion and then smoked.

   I would really recommend you stay away from this item.

   Very nice kettle, heats fast, holds 1.8L which is a lot, and it is not noisy. I am happy with this, good price!

   Edit: After a few months it stopped working. Button to turn it on/off got stuck and stopped.

   Delivered in its own branded box

   Inside sits this 1.8l glass kettle which has a 360° base with three pin lead . The kettle has a clip close lid that’s easy to access push the clip towards the handle and the lid opens .

   This has the power button on the handle there are blue led lights come on when it’s switched on , within seconds of boil it auto shuts off which is what I required .

   Looks stylish with the silver/ chrome detailing strip on the bottom of the kettle.

   Works great at a good price just over £16 I’m happy to recommend

   Cheap and nasty .
   Really thin glass , only one LED in the base so it only lights up a tiny bit , flimsy base and flex .
   But the real kicker is that its only 1500 Watts , not 2500 Watts as advertised .
   This means it is really , really slow to boil , not good enough .
   Disappointing effort.
