This kettle is relatively quiet for a “jug” style kettle, and as compared with my previous similar style kettle, is significantly quieter, but correspondingly slightly longer to boil when full to capacity.

Not sure about this kettle. Looks nice but takes longer to boil than my last one. Also, can someone say whether or not the blue led lights should show blue completely round the base. Mine only lights up a little way either side of the handle. Is it faulty?
