Based on the description and reviews of this product I bought this kettle 4 months ago, but it yesterday it stopped working. During the first week of operation on a couple of times the kettle didn’t stop boiling by itself. I put some water to boil then I went to do some choirs and later when I came back to the kitchen I saw condensation all over the kitchen and the kettle was bone dry. All water evaporated into the ceiling, wall and cupboards because the kettle failed to stop boiling by itself. This happened a few times, so I could not leave the kettle unattended. But yesterday I went to turn the kettle and it now completely fails to turn on. I changed the fuse and also tried a different plug socket but the kettle is totally kaput.

I don’t usually do reviews but i believe this product is way underrated and deserves better attention.
I were in pursuit of a simple yet reliable kettle to suit my budget and I’ve just found it,
been using it for over a month every day and it works as it should that’s why i thought it might be a good time to review it.
I’ve read some mixed opinions about it, and to clarify it to anyone who read this,
noise-wise is normal as any other kettle i had in the past.
Boiling speed i can’t complain as i am not a nerd to measure the “actual” boiling speed as it doesn’t bother me if i have to wait 2 minutes or maybe 2:20
The fact is when i press the button it will boil the water and that’s all its counts for me.

I have cleaned this kettle more then 10 times, I have used bicarb and vinegar and I can still taste the rubbery copper that sits on top of the water when you pour in it into a cup. Apparently these are protective coatings that should have been removed after production and before shipping but it tastes like something that would give you cancer in a few years. If I can not resolve this in the next few days then I am refunding.
The kettle itself feels well built but the base feels light and cheap like it does not have the mass to say where you put it on the counter. ofc this is a cheap kettle so there you go.

After 1 year of use, it has started to heat the water slowly, but I still think it was of good quality. The noise is not much and it looks very good. Super easy to use. Was definitely good value for money.

I bought this kettle a couple of months ago for my new home. I moved and started using it 4 wks ago – so it has had 4 weeks continuous use. Today I wanted to unplug it to clean all my worktops down – and found it has FUSED ITSELF to the socket! My son had a look and he says it looks like I was very close to a fire! At some point the plug had overheated! It is still STUCK in the socket and in the New Year I have to get an electrician out to repair and probably fit a new socket! As well as having to get another new kettle!
Aside from that it’s VERY noisy – takes ages to boil – when it has water in it’s very heavy too _ I bought it as it was small, meant to be lightweight and quick boiling with one cup capacity as I live alone. I am arthritic and struggle with my hands – so needed the features it claims to have – so don’t waste your money – as at worst it can set your kitchen on fire – I am not impressed and so glad I have fire alarms everywhere!
