Nice for the price however when it’s finished boiling it shoots up water and overspills everywhere, I don’t overfill it either, this has happened ever since I purchased it new, it seems the pressure and the heat may cause it, it’s highly frustrating, apart from this issue it’s a nice kettle.

It works fine and the colour is accurate but when you’re pouring from it, the spout leaks more water than you’re expecting, so it’s a bit difficult to control that. Just be aware, particularly if there’s anyone who’s using it who doesn’t have dexterity in their hands or fingers.

Purchased this after my old kettle died and after searching for one similar that wouldn’t dribble or splash when pouring hot water. After spending ages going through reviews and comparing images, I chose this one as it had a small triangular spout like my old one which unlike these new so called perfect pour big rounded spouts is the ONLY kettle that I found that would not dribble and splash water all over the place when pouring a cup of tea or filling my water bottle!! Thankfully, this lightweight kettle is a great replacement, no dribble or splashes, it is relatively quiet, no plastic aftertaste (fill and boil then empty on first use) and boils pretty quickly. This black glossy kettle sits on a handy base and being plastic is very light which makes it easier for my arthritic hand to hold, even when filled halfway with water. There is a clear section on the left hand side with white measure lines showing how much water it contains when filled so easy to check if there is enough for your requirements. The on/off switch at the rear is clear plastic that lights up with a red light when switched on and automatically turns off when the water has boiled. Only had this kettle for a couple of days but really pleased with this kettle and hoping it lasts a long time!!
