i’m in holiday now and knew the hotel although 3 star didn’t have tea making facilities in the room – it has been a gid send to not have to dress up to go for a brew in the public areas – it has been a pleasure to have my private brews and proberbly saved me thirty quid in a week which is a few drinks at the night – brilliant purchase 👍

I am undating my TEA DRINKERS review from April 25, 2023 in which I gave this product five stars. I have reduced it to one star and if I could leave 0 stars I would.
The first time we used it in April for 2 days it worked very well. Upon returning home, I cleaned the kettle with a mild vinegar solution to keep any deposits from forming on the metal plate. This week on our second two day trip it worked just fine on day one, but on the second day, when we used all the water in the kettle a white film was floating on top of the tea along with some white bits. The silicone inside the kettle had a cloudy deposit that you cold not remove.. The return policy is only for thirty days, so I guess I am unable to return it for a refund. If you value your health, do not buy this kettle.

Just received this and it’s works great. I haven’t used it yet to make a cup of tea as some reviews were saying to boil it a few time to take away the plastic taste. However, one review said that it doesn’t turn off when boiled and to keep an eye on it, but it does so they must have had a faulty one. It folds down to a very small siaze and is great for camping.

Really good little kettle for campervan – nearly full makes 2 mugs of tea. Doesn’t take long to boil – and saves on gas when you’re on electric hook-up. ONE THING TO NOTE – DOES NOT TURN ITSELF OFF – So need to be monitored from start to finish. We might have been sent a “duff” version – but decided to keep it as only used by 2 adults.

Have boiled this kettle 12 times with no issue.
Yes its a little slower than our normal kettle but works quite well.
I have boiled it 3 times with bicarb to ensure it does not smell and seems to have done the trick.

Light, compact little travel kettle. Enough capacity for two mugs. Havn’t used enough as yet to see how durable it is on the fold lines but OK so far (used at least 30 times) Takes a little getting used to as obviously more flexable than a solid kettle so be wary when full of boiling water.

Such a shame! The inner lining keeps shedding into the water – even before boiling. You can see from the photos that the concertina jug is no longer an opaque white and is getting clearer as the lining sheds. I’ve brought it on holiday to France to use in hotels that don’t provide kettles. Tried to use it tonight for the first time and no matter how many times I rinse it out it just keeps shedding. 🙁
