   Love that it’s glass and you can see the water boiling. The size is great. Unfortunately it takes a very long time to boil two cups of water. NOT RAPID BOIL. Really did like this kettle for it’s size and how the lid comes completely off making it easy to clean. Low mark is that it only lasted a year and very slow boil, otherwise a great kettle.

   Looks great but when you pour boiling water from the kettle – its doesn’t pour properly, so its a bit useless and dangerous. I bought this in August and it has already broken (had for just 7 months) , the light comes on blue as normal but the heat simply doesn’t happen. I have hardly used it, so its best to get a better brand else this kettle just goes straight to landfill.

   Not only do I love my kettle for its colour changing, its fast to boil, holds more than my other kettle and is easy to clean. What is more impressive is the brilliant customer service. Good communication and a speedy send out of a replacement.

   Excellent kettle. Able to hold 2.5L without water spilling over while boiling which is perfect. Reasonable boiling time. The water seems to be much quicker to cool after boiling too compared to my old kettle which is amazing (I had a stainless steel one from another brand) not sure if it’s because of the glass design. The classic auto shut off feature works very well. Basically everything I want in a kettle, can’t fault this.
   The only downside for this order might be the need to pay for shipping even though I have a Prime membership, but this is genuinely worth it.

   Good points:
   Large capacity – claims 2.5 litre but is actually 2.2 litre, though adequate for my needs
   Clear glass makes easy to see how much is in it, when it is boiling and when to clean
   Blue ring of LEDs in base make it very obvious when switched on, auto off works well
   Good, non-drip pourer due to high spout
   Power consumption was measured and is 2.2kW as stated
   Less good points:
   Scale on side of kettle is way off, so have recalibrated with stickers on cool part
   When full to max (about 1 cm below metal top ring/ignore scale on side) feels heavy to lift (hardly surprising, but balance is offset)
   Pouring rate is adequate but could be improved with less restrictions at the spout (Though back pressure when boiling maybe needed for auto off function)
   When boiling, seems slightly noisier than plastic types due to hard materials used. (Glass & S/Steel)
   Strange rust marks (very minor) around spout after month of use – cleans up ok
   Handle can become hot with multiple boilings, as ‘off’ sensor is located in upper part of handle.
   Lid is friction fit at 3 points with metal spring indents – am wary the lid might come off when pouring but to be fair has never done so and seems a good secure fit so far.

   Is this a good kettle, value for money, functions as needed with useful features? YES
   Would I buy this again knowing its strengths and weaknesses? YES

   I wasn’t even going too open the box, it I decided could go as a donation for a local club raffle. Curiosity got the better! I can not quote on how it works, but it is very stylish, well made and easy it seems in use. If I needed a kettle I would not be disappointed.
