    An exceptionally well designed, lightweight kettle. The practical 1.0L capacity is ideal for those of advancing years. A nice, well balanced pourer; ideal for general kitchen use. Highly recommended.

    My initial euphoria has evaporated. My return expiry date terminited in June. Regrettably this AMAZON RECOMMENDED product failed structurally after a relatively short life. The lid hinge detatched itself from the main body with associated spring and proved quite impossible to relocate. This of course made it impracticle and poditively dangerous to use.
    Having had the same experience with a like model some weeks earlier, I was rash enough to order a similar sized product – but alledgey from a different supplier – as a suitable replacement. In the event this turned out to be an exact fac simile of the original. This arrived this morning and I had no option but to teturn. It to Amazon ASAP.
    Regrettably my expiry date of June has expired so I am without redress.

    I have a touring van so need low wattage kettle. After trying several and well known makes which have either blown after a short time, badly dripped when pouring, taken ages to boil, or the amount of water they hold only just enough to fill two small cups, this kettle is just great. It’s very stylish, holds a litre of water, enough for two good mugs, boils very quickly and pours water into cups not spurts out the side of the spout. It also has a concealed element so very easy cleaning. Might be a little more expensive than other low wattage kettles but most certainly worth it. I’m just pleased that at long last I have found a decent kettle for my van.

    So far, so good. I wanted a lighter weight kettle (hand/age issues ) and only ever boil two mugs at a time. Absolutely ideal , looks good , normal boiling time, lightweight.
    Hope it lasts a while as I like it very much

    This was bought for an older person who was struggling to fill a standard kettle, she is really happy with the smaller size which is prefect for her, and the weight is much less, so again very happy. The lid opens easily, fair value for money, quality seems to be OK, I thought the noise level was a bit louder but not according to the person it’s bought for.

    We rather like this kettle. We bought the black one which we prefer.

    Having had 1.7 litre kettles all our lives, we decided, as there was only two of us, we’d have a smaller one.

    It makes around 3 mugs if full.
    It has water fill gauges on both sides of the kettle.
    It has a button which opens the lid.
    Relatively heavy when full, but we don’t tend to fill it up.
    Boils reasonably fast.
    Quite quiet when boiling.
    It has a built in filter.

    The only drawback is you need to pour it slowly as the lid does not lock in place and water does escape if poured too quickly. Some water also drips from the lid when open.

    We would definitely recommend this kettle.

    Like the style and quality. Easy to both fill and pour from. Reasonably quiet in operation and boils quickly.
    Live on my own so one litre capacity is ideal. Like the fact that heating element is ‘sealed away’.
    Would recommend. Nothing more to say other than very pleased with it.
