Make no mistake ,this kettle means businesses. Double plus normal capacity, great pouring spout, childhood memories of when a kettle WAS a kettle.
My only dislikes are, electric cable not a tight fit in kettle socket, remember when filled this is one heavy beast, but light as a feather when empty .
Great value for money,
Just remember this will take at least 5mins to start to heat …then your away and auto cut out when boiled.
Great feature is a Min,Max,scale inside kettle .
It’s a catering kettle ,no frills x does what’s needed IT BOILS WATER….
I love it 👍

The best

Very industrial looking kettle heavy but hopefully last longer than these over priced fancy ones, especially those with the separate power base that gets water underneath and blows your electrics! This has a corded power direct into the kettle like the old days

If you need a very large capacity kettle then your choices are a little limited.
This one seems a little flimsy, not the thickest of metal, but it does do what it is needed to, boil water.
The lead supplied is not that long, around 80cm. But it just reached the socket ok when the kettle was placed next to it. It is a tight fit in the back of the kettle tho, and it does need to be removed before you can pour it.
The kettle is not of the fast boil type, being 2200w. But it does get there…! Albeit a little slow.
The pouring spout is ok, but not the best. It can tend to splash a little when pouring and not be that precise, certainly not in our use.
Overall the kettle is “ok” than good or great. As mentioned, you would need a specific use for having such a large kettle and if you do then this one does the job. But it does it with niggles. The niggles tho, overall, are not enough to refund it, it does overall work “ok”.
I hope that this review has helped you.

An efficient catering sized kettle bought to replace the same sized Caterlite kettle which suddenly and mysteriously ceased to work last week.
In looks, it resembles the Swan version (I had that before) rather than the rounded handle and broader spout of the Caterlite. It is also considerably quieter and slightly faster with a maximum fill than either of the other two. Goes to show that looks (and branding) aren’t everything. As with other such kettles please remember that 3.5 litres of water is heavy and kettles like this get very hot. A 1 metre power lead is supplied.
As with all such items these days it comes with a largely useless instruction manual, a few examples from it are attached to indicate it’s quality. See the picture? Do I really need to have a diagram that tells me the difference between a handle, lid and spout? And more seriously, while it gives instructions on how to change the fuse in the plug if necessary, it fails to state at any point what type of fuse it might require. I assume it’s a 13 amp, but other values are available – why does it have to wait until you open the plug? It’s in English throughout but what is useful is likely to be discarded, as is the way with these things.
The weakness of my review is that I have only recently acquired this, so I cannot comment on its longevity but I’ll be using it most days, so if it’s subject to premature failure, leaking, etc. I promise I will be back.

I loved it , it was perfect for my family 3.5 liter. I dreamed about it, I look for it every where and finally found it. Price was high, I didn’t care about it cause I needed it. It was my first kettle love. Why do you do this ? Why do you send me , why me . The damage product.
