this kettle was bought for a gift to my mother and it wasn’t even a day old when she used this for the first time it blew all her electrics out and never worked again, what a bad disappointment this was bought it payed for and that happened, ive wrote to you before about this and not had a refund or replacement option at all very dangerous for my mother because she’s 82 yrs old lives on her own and could have done some dangerous damage to her, i reckonmend these sort of electrics should be tested before being sold as this obviously wasn’t checked thoroughly enough and could have cause a fire, appsoultly disgusting that things like this happen and shouldn’t but it did, I’m 52yrs old and buying a kettle as a gift to my own mother to find out this happened just made me so angry, you never even offered a refund or anything, therefore i will not be buy from you again.

I have read about leaks etc but the one I received isn’t suffering from any defect at all It’s very quiet and I bought it as a back up to my expensive kettle 10 times the price and this one is so much quieter and even boiled faster side by side . The design I love and it certainly does not look cheap in the slightest and I like the weight and even the way it sits back onto the base . I can’t fault it and frankly Am amazed at the price . Worth every penny

This kettle was bought as a replacement for a stainless steel kettle, this is much lighter and easier to keep clean. My only gripe is it needs a lot of water to cover the element so I find myself pouring quite a lot away after making one cup of tea, it also takes a while to boil. But for the cost and the pleasing outward design I can overlook those small things. I’m happy with my purchase.

This was bought to replace a kettle that no longer worked. When looking online for a replacement I found a bewildering choice but was driven more by price than anything else, as it matters little to me what it looks like as long as it works and isn’t too heavy. The only thing a bit annoying is that to use it properly by putting in enough water to cover the heating element in the bottom of the kettle, means that after filling a mug or small cafetiere there is some water left over. But as there’s usually something in my sink waiting to be washed I pour the surplus hot water into or over it.

This is the replacement one I bought after the first one was faulty (intermittently wouldn’t connect to the base so wouldn’t boil). I liked the speed of boiling and the quiet operation so decided to try another one. I only need this temporarily in shared accommodation. I wouldn’t buy one as the main kettle in my kitchen when I have my own place.

The kettle looked lovely but disappointed that the plug didn’t fit the power point didn’t need extra expense of buying an adaptor.
