Overall, I’m very pleased with this kettle. I would purchase it again. The pro’s – It’s lightweight without the water in it so doesn’t add too much to the total weight of lifting a full kettle. The flip top lid opens wider than my last kettle – you have to gently pull on it to open completely. The spout is quite large, nice and wide so you get a decent amount of water flow when pouring. It boils a full kettle in about 2.5 minutes and that is acceptable to me. The cons – The water level view is only on one side – others have commented on this as well. This means that when I am filling it from our filtered water jug, with the spout facing me at the front, I cannot easily see how full it actually is. I sometimes have to pour some out as I’ve overfilled it a bit. I have drawn a thick black line across the viewer at the maximum level to try and avoid overfilling it, but, it doesn’t look very nice! The kettle is noisy, as others have said but that’s not really an issue with us, it just means we can hear when it’s finished! There is only one tiny light on the on-off switch to indicate it’s actually working. We were spoiled with our last kettle having blue lights on the viewports on both sides so, that’s a disappointment but not a game changer. The cable on the base seems to be very long or very short! I have wound it underneath but because the base is so lightweight, the cable ‘pushes’ it further from the wall than I would like. I fill the kettle and the weight from that lets me push it closer to the wall – until it’s empty again – and creeps away from the wall..! A nuisance!
It might seem like there are so many more ‘cons’ than ‘pros’ that I wouldn’t like this kettle – but I do! My last one was heavy when empty and too (!) heavy when full! The flip top lid didn’t open as far as this one and the spout wasn’t as large for easy pouring. Those are the things that were the most important to me – lightweight, easy to fill and pour – this kettle does those things. Plus! It has a 2 year warranty! Good stuff!

Love this kettle. Boils fast and can be cleaned easily. Like the filter and they supply an extra filter so it can be changed. Bought kettle as it had a swivel base easier to use when you have arthritis, not having to line it up to connect to base. It is a little noisy but it boils quicks so not an issue. I would buy again. So far no leaks.

The measure for the water level is only on one side, so not helping me when filling the kettle holding it in your left hand (due to my sink and taps layout) Quite heavy. Noisy when working. Average speed to boil. I’ve had this make before and that kettle lasted 5 years before it started leaking. Good size for 4/5 mugs Quality is good this time.

Does what it’s meant to quickly but a bit noisily, seems robust, and preferable to my last composite kettle which started to crumble. Metallic finish obviously shows any water or hand marks, but that’s inevitable.
