I bought this to replace my old dualit while I get it cleaned and refurbed and I can honestly say this toaster isn’t fit for purpose. On the plus side it toasts fruit bread without burning it, but that because its elements are so weak you might as well pop your bread outside for a suntan and get the same effect. Even at maximum it doesn’t brown until you leave it down twice and then it’s just dried out rather than toasted. Don’t even think about trying to toast frozen bread or it will be so hard by the time it goes brown it’ll take your teeth out. Terrible, terrible toaster. Avoid like the plague.

Unfortunately bread needs to be turned or cut in half as a whole slice doesn’t fit (I’m just talking normal 800g loaf). Toaster looks nice, feels substantial and toasts quickly – just a bit frustrating when it’s primary function is to toast bread & it struggles!

Brought this in June 2023 ready to go in my brand new kitchen ready for December 2023. I have used it a few times and now one side doesn’t work at all. I’m not very impressed as it cost a lot of money

Since we had this toaster we’ve not been happy it takes so long to toast and even having it on the longest setting no 6 we end up putting it in again! I love the look but not the function I had a cheap toaster before and it was much better , this toaster was expensive and hasn’t lived up to my expectation ! I got it to match my kettle and microwave ! Expensive mistake !!!!
