3 SPEED SETTINGS, 3 HEAT SETTINGS & COOL SHOT: This hairdryer delivers max 1600w output with 3 fan speed settings and 3 airflow heat settings. Switch between off, low and high speeds to operate the fan motor at different speeds dependant upon the hair style requirements. During use, you can press and hold the cool shot button to change the output air temperature from hot to cold. Once the cool shot is released, the output air temperature will revert back to the temperature set by the heat switch.

This is a great no frills hair dryer. It doesn’t have heat settings, per se, just three variable speed settings. But there is a cool shot button – so there is that. However, for the price it’s a bargain and it will dry your hair.

Terrible, burnt out on 6th day of use, flames and burnt smell, could have been extremely serious. Refund please

I think this is a brilliant hair-dryer because it has quite a short barrel which, for me, means it is more easily manoeuvrable. My hair is quite short and goes flat quite easily, so the short barrel means I can add a bit of height and volume.
Personally, I find that some hair-dryers have the controls on the ‘inside’ of the handle and I always catch them when I am drying my hair. This hair-dryer has the settings on the back of the handle which I find much more practical.
There are 3 heat settings, although I find that setting 2 is perfectly adequate for drying my hair. It also has a ‘cool shot’ button which I don’t use, but some people no doubt find it useful.
It is very reasonably priced. I had a similar Lloytron hair-dryer previously (which lasted for years) and which I wanted to replace – having used a different hair-dryer with an irritatingly long barrel and switches in the wrong place – and, as they no longer produced the exact same hair-dryer, this seemed an ideal substitute.
If it lasts as long as the previous one, then it will prove to be very good value indeed.

I have this product mainly for drying my beard (when I grow it longer) I have used it maybe 20 – 30 times since purchase and the last time I used it I had no issues a few days ago I tried to use it again and there is almost no heat even on the hottest setting … Yes I knows it’s a cheap price but for me I did not last nearly as long as I’d have expected it too.
