My first hairdryer of this brand, I purchased it from Argos. It lasted for over 3 years until one morning I wanted to strengthen my hair put some hair cream, and as I was trying to hold the hairdryer, it slipped from my hands and fell on the flood. The hairdryer fun broke, but then the body remained intact. I checked Argos, but it was no longer available. I was so pleased when I found it on Amazon. I love using this hairdryer. It’s powerful and does a good job. I use it at home for strengthening my hair and wigs, which works for me well.

I was worried to purchase at first, as people mentioned issues with the pik attachment staying on; but I have very thick afro hair and have no issues with it coming lose. The pik attachment is actually an improvement from the older models as the rubber around the base of the pik attachment holds it on more securely. The new faster speed setting allows me to dry my hair faster at a lower temperature which is great for avoiding heat damage. The only issues I have are; the weight, it’s pretty heavy and when you have a lot of a hair and its thick you’re holding the dryer up for a while. Also the placement of the buttons is awkward and sometimes you press different setting, especially when your arms getting tired. However I’m very happy with it.

Great blow dryer. Really good heat settings. I have 3c/4a hair and it got it nice and dry and tangle free (in prep for straightening) using the pik attachment. It felt like it took less time to blow dry than it has with other dryers. The pik attachment does come off so you have to kind of hold it on whilst drying. Once you have the knack it’s fine. If I was using the pik to touch up a blow dry I wouldn’t need to hold it, it only when going through thick curly damp hair. This coupled with the straightener gave me the best result I’ve had straightening my natural hair. 4 stars because of pik coming off.

My hairdryer has just broken due to me dropping it on the floor for the first time ever! I’ve had it 10 years and it was amazing. I’ve just selected another on amazon only to realise it was the same as i had bought 10 years ago. So there you go. Reliable. Works amazing with the comb for straightening – wouldn’t be without it.

The attached comb keeps falling off during use. It doesn’t stay securely in place and constantly slides off the round plastic/rubber attachment while I’m using the hairdryer. This makes it frustrating and inconvenient to use. I am away till end of June 2025 how will be able to return the item by 09/06/25 as I purchased as a gift to my family member
