These earbuds pack a huge amount of functionality at a low cost. They connect instantly, fit the ear comfortably and I think the sound quality is excellent for the price. I won’t buy more expensive earbuds as I’m good at losing them… I chose these primarily for the remote control/charging unit and haven’t been disappointed.
It took me a while to ‘work’ the controls on the earbuds themselves; the touch-sensitive areas is actually the small flat rectangle on the forward-facing edge of each one. Once I found this it was much easier to control volume, track etc.
I’m altogether very happy with the purchase.

I am getting battery life 4 hours, 30-45 minutes, at low volume.

The case is so heavy I wondered if it had a weight added … SoundPeats do 7-11 hours.
The fit is a little loose in my ears, and no bigger tips are included. The fitting has an unusual taper: I haven’t tried or even found or looked for alternative ear-tips. Bigger might add bass, too.
The ANC does something, but not impressively. Transparency is not noticeable, so leave it off to save battery. The case has a 4th option, but the buds don’t?🤪
The sound is thin, but OK-ish.
The touch controls on the buds are annoying.
Easily triggered by a hat. Impossible to swipe for vol+- without tapping for pause!
Impossible to transfer buds from case to ear without enabling ANC and/or Alexa.
The case is OK for control, but it would have been nice to be able to disable the buds’ touch-control. You can re-pair them without the case.
BT 5.4 may not be an advantage, since your phone probably isn’t 5.4. Range and losing connection is poor for me (Moto g50, compared to SoundPeats etc).
Of course, these are not ‘HD Audio’, just basic SBC 16bit 44kHz.
That can sound good enough.
On Windows, you can download ‘alternative A2DP driver’ from Bluetooth Tweaks and set 44.1kHz, ‘Dual Channel’ and enjoy 452kbps for audibly better stereo.
One annoyance: while charging the case, it just shows a ⚡icon not the control app. No controls.
First pairing requests location and contacts permissions, presumably for ‘find me’ and ‘caller display’.
A notification says ‘re-pair to allow messages permission’.
The control app on the case does show the track title, or even web-page title!
I don’t know if that is the ‘message’, or if it would display SMS texting messages …
I did buy the ‘White-1’ colour for £10 black Friday deal.
There is a better £10 option I ordered from China … has diagonal ribbing on the stem, and a visibly bigger driver. Brand: Honseadek YW06 or YW08..
Update: the mystery 4th mode of noise reduction (icon two stars or ++ beside head) might be ENC, rather than ANC. Meaning it doesn’t affect what you hear, but rather what you say! It is in the microphone channel, not the earphone channels. Just a theory: if I get time and motivation I may experiment…
This set has one function the YW08 doesn’t: a button for ‘Liking!’ videos. I haven’t tried it.
YW08 has spatial audio: wide, reverb etc.
