Great product. Reasonably quiet, light and very effective at cutting through branches and a stubborn woody hedge that I’ve got. I’m a 61 year old female with a shoulder problem and I have no problem with handling the weight or the manoeuvring of the trimmer. Thoroughly recommended

Good trimmer, well built, sturdy and one battery charge lasts well past a hours worth of cutting (still at full charge after that, the trimmer has a charge measuring feature which is very useful), also pretty powerful, managed to cut through a inch thick branch with minimal effort, very impressed

I found I couldn’t get this hedgecutter to work…. Nearly sent it back . I left it on charge for ages so it’s now working fine. I have had the same model previously so was happy with the weight and noise level. I would say it’s alright for a medium hedge, I have a large beach hedge running the full length of the garden, so need to charge it for the last bit. But I know I could not handle a larger cutter, so this one is ideal for me. Trims well, you just need to make sure you don’t try to thicker branch !

Great product! Not super lightweight but definitely light enough to make it very easy to maneuver for decent amounts of time and reach difficult angles. Battery lasts a good while and is compatible with the one from other tools. I have the strimmer, extended hedge trimmer and now this so can have batteries ready to go constantly. Takes a while to do my hedges and this is superb tool for the job!

I bought this to replace a corded Bosch item that i had for over 10 years until some low life broke into my shed and stole it along with other gardening power tools… so when looking around i made the decision to try a cordless one although I was a little dubious as to how powerful and for how long this would run for with only a 2.5ah battery as being used to power tools (drills/saws etc) having 4 & 5ah batteries – but i was surprised… this easily dealt with everything i attacked with it – its also quite a bit lighter than the old corded one as well as a fair bit quieter too, The main handle is basically the same as the old one with the safety switch on 3 sides of it so you can easily hold the trimmer at different angles and still be able to squeeze the leaver in one hand while pressing the trigger with the other so this would be good for both left and right handed people. Overall i’m really happy with it and would recommend it, however, Ive only had it for a week so I don’t know how long it will last for but if it lasts half as long as the last one i would be happy.

The trimmer was bought to replace an older corded Bosch. Originally I was skeptical whether a battery powered cordless would have the va va voom to get through some of the thicker hedges but I was pleasantly surprised. Although the trimmer is a little noisier than I had expected, it exceeded my expectations in being easy to use, light weight and build quality for usage for years to come. The battery also charged quickly and did the job.

I’m sure this excellent tool, but I did not see in any of the descriptions that it weighed 3 kg which is a heavier tool that I would be able to effectively manage for a reasonable period of time.
