For the money this is a great little tool. Battery run time is about an hour and recharges under 3 hours;
Easy to switch between trimmer and grass shears. I enjoy using hassle free implements and tools.
Light weight so it doesn’t wear you out. Handle is padded for comfort and didn’t really tire our my fingers or hand.
Overall this is a wonderful tool to have in your garden shed. It is one you will reach for to use time and again.

Don’t expect miracles from this trimmer – and you won’t be disappointed. For the price, it absolutely does the job and does it well.
It’s definitely not meant for full-blown landscaping or thick branches, but if you just need to trim up a few bushes, shape some shrubs or clean up edges here and there – it works great. The performance is exactly what the product description promises.
There’s a safety feature where you need to press two buttons at once for it to operate, which I actually like – helps avoid any accidental cuts.
No complaints from me – mostly because I wasn’t expecting it to do more than it should. And within those expectations, it delivered.

This product is effective to an extent but not very strong. It doesn’t feel well made but it’s great that it is USB-C rechargeable. The battery is integrated and non-replaceable. I’ve used it to cut back some ivy and tall grass – works well but struggles with woodier bits on the rose bush.
Overall, not high quality but somewhat effective for light jobs.

Ok, so you ain’t gonna do any heavy pruning or hedge cutting with this little trimmer. But it ain’t designed with heavy work in mind. It’s perfect for light pruning on well maintained plants/shrubs etc where they just need a little tidy up. Perfect instead of using shears/pruners where your finger joints ain’t what they use to be. It’s easy to use, lightweight and has a rechargeable battery, so no cord and relatively inexpensive. Just don’t expect anything other than very light pruning.

For cutting the grass which grow too close to the wall and to trim off tiny branches this trimmer is perfect for that. I feel a lot more confident using this than trimmer instead of our wired trimmer up the ladder.
It does not cut thick branches and if you did try to use it to cut anything bigger than 5mm diameter it can jam the blade and you will have to yank it out or dig it out with tools. This brings it to the next issue which is safety. The battery is internal and not removable, there is no removal key switch to disengage power to the motor. The only safety mechanism is that you have to push the thumb button to the front and squeeze the trigger to start trimming. This is good enough for most of the time while cutting but when it comes to changing blade there is a possibility of having the thumb accidently push the button and accidently press the trigger while your other hand is trying to undo the blade attachment.
I am sure most people would have the safety in mind when using this and I have seen others have removal key to disable the tool completely before changing attachments.

I ordered this for my better half’s ball plants(don’t know what they are called) and it is great.
It allows us to make very quick minor shaping a breeze – my missus thinks little and often is the way.
This charges via USB-C and it’s super quick to change the attachments. In use it very quickly allows us to trim any stray leaves.
It feels well made, trims great and is easy to use – no negative comments about it really. Recommend.

This battery-powered shear / trimmer is OK for light work trimming small, ornamental hedges and neatening up grass borders. It’s not powerful enough for tackling a full-sized hedge, and it’s not really intended for that, either.
If you use it within those limitations, it’s fine. It doesn’t have the safety interlocks that you’d find on larger tools, which as far as I’m concerned is a bonus. I find the interlocks to be an annoying and unnecessary feature that can actually make the job more dangerous in some cases. But that’s just me.
The tool seems attractively priced, but in all honesty I’d save up a bit more and buy one with an interchangeable battery from a better-known brand.

I have a dwarf box hedging in three parts, around 14m in length, and some small narrow areas of grass that a lawnmower cannot reach. In my front and rear gardens.
For the hedging, I’ve been using a rather long corded hedge trimmer over the years, with some success. Although I’ve always felt it’s a bit of overkill and rather unwieldy to use such a large garden tool on a small hedge.
For the narrow areas of grass, I’ve been using shears, and usually the blunt pair!
But now, I have a cordless hedge trimmer and grass shears that will do the job very nicely. I’ve seen some of the other reviews and think to myself… the seller’s description describes exactly what I need. So why are some people saying they can’t cut through thick branches etc? This ‘pruner’ isn’t designed to do that!
I’m giving this pruner four stars, because it does the job it’s designed to do. However, like many others, I do have safety concerns about the non-detachable battery and the possibility of accidentally switching it on while blade changing. It does need a separate safety lock to prevent that happening, above the normal two buttons needed to run the blades.
The price at review of just under £30 is very reasonable, offering good value for money.
