On arrival I found out it does not come with a battery and charger.
Researched and found that I need to spend about £150 extra, so it’s going straight back. I realise I should have noticed this myself but it should be more prominent, when ordering this product.
It looks a quality item, but I’ll never know?

I purchased this for my Husband as a present for £169. He opened it on the day to use only to find that this didn’t have a charger or battery pack! For this I would need to spend another £143 which I will not do. Avoid at all costs and purchase straight from Ryobi.

Bien décidé à tailler mes haies moi même, j’ai jeté mon dévolu sur ce taille haie Ryobi car j’ai déjà 2 batteries de cette même marques (datant de 2015) utilisées pour ma tondeuse.
Et je peux donc confirmer que ces anciennes batteries ryobi (36v 4Ah) de tondeuses fonctionnent parfaitement dans ce taille haie !
Sinon aucun soucis pour tailler ma haie, l’appareil est excellent, surtout quand on a des haies qui montent haut. Cependant il est assez lourd à l’usage et il faut régulièrement se reposer.

Bought this for our new house with massive hedges. It slices though the foliage like a hot knife through butter. Can get through some really quite chunky branches given a bit of time too. But once I am on top of these hedges going to be a brease. Very pleased.

Fantastic bit of kit, took no time at all to trim the hedges with this beast. Not too heavy to handle as the larger 5ah battery provides good counter balance…even better when you get it a bit cheaper from the Amazon returns section.

Attention, livré sans batterie et cette derniere vaut bien plus chère que le taille haie, je me suis fait avoir.
avec la perche, tailler à l’horizontal est compliqué. ce n’est pas propre à ce taille haie mais à tous ceux du meme style : au contact des végértaux l’appareil à tendance s’incliner sur son axe vers le bas, j’ai du acheter un poignée suplementaire pour minimser cela.
la puissance coupe est honorable (mais ne vaut pas ma thermique), et permet d’etre précis.
il y a un embou au bout de la zone de coupe qui a la facheuse tendance a se coincer dans les branches.
Le poids reste un probleme, c’est assez vite epuisant.
La baterrie est bluffante, tres bonne tenue, vraiment qualitative
En résumél l’appareil est de tres bonne qualité les defauts evoqués tienne plus des defauts du type de produit que le produit lui meme (à l’exeption de l’embout que se coince toute le temps)
je le recomande mais il faut avoir consience des réserves

Après 15 minutes d utilisation le taille haie perche bloquer, super, pourtant c été performant et utile dommage peu être un disfonctionnement de la machine …..

Probably a great product, if you’re willing to spend more on the extra parts to be able to use it. I sent mine back without even unsealing the box. Bought it off Amazon for £168, but I should have read the small print more closely because it doesn’t come with the battery. Depending on the amp hours of the battery you buy, this will cost of further £100-£150. Then you will also have to buy a charger which can be anything from £70-£150. And all of this If you can work out which battery and charger you actually need.
So please be aware to use this product is going to cost you over £300, my personal belief this product is slightly misleading, at the bottom of the box is the word battery, then a small picture next to it of a battery with a line through it they should make it a lot clearer that you can’t use this product straight from the box.
