The trimmer arrived just before lunch today and has been in action already.
Easy to assemble and the long handle is just what I needed.
It does what it says on the tin. It’s a hand held hedge / plant trimmer, but when it’s clipped and plugged into the extension handle it doubles up as a strimmer – and the combination of the garden I’m tackling at the moment and the steel blades – I can see that this will be my “go to” tool before getting the lawn mower out for the finishing touches.
No more replacing strimmer blades every two minutes or so (I gave up on line fed strimmers years ago).
Don’t try to be over ambitious, if you try to attack long grass too quickly, the trimmer will come out of the holder – but it fits back in very quickly.
I don’t know (yet) how long the charge will last, but it recharged to full after I used it for 5 – 10 minutes in no time at all.
Highly recommended. (Only time will tell how reliable it is, but it is one of the better known brands – so I have no reason to doubt that it will last well).

Bought this product as completely fed up with my strimmer; it was too heavy and the line, which never fed through, kept running out and was almost impossible to replace. This product is brilliant. Very easy to use and effective on edging grass, even on long tough grass. tI haven’t tried the hedge trimmer yet. The products look pretty robust.
The assembly instructions are rather confusing, and would suggest a couple of more detailed pictures of the assembled products would help to piece it together more quickly. Great care needs to be taken when using the hand held strimmer, to keep your fingers of the non operating hand away from the blades. Sounds obvious I know, but a couple of time I found myself using my other hand to position long grasses for cutting…DON’T do it!
Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product. Very good value for money.

Great little machine, makes my partners life easier using the grass head to cut sides, with or without long handle. Cuts the long edge along my raised beds really well, would definitely recommend.

I have a stone border around my lawn, and have never got on with line fed strimmers for doing the edges, as the line always broke every few seconds. So looking for an alternative, and found this fantastic little trimmer. It was relatively easy to assemble, apart from getting the wheels on. There is a small metal rod that goes through the holes at the bottom of the telescopic main stick, and then you push the wheels onto the ends of the rod. However, the metal rod was caught in one of the flaps in the box, once I’d located this it was straightforward (I couldn’t see anything in the instructions about the rod).
In terms of operation, it was an absolute breeze. Doing the lawn edges is now easy and quick, no more bending down. What used to take 20 minutes now only takes 5 minutes. Have used it four times without recharging (very small lawn), so battery life seems good so far.
I wish I had discovered this sooner.

Lovely light weight easy to assemble trimmer/edger…. does as it says on the box.
Charges well but only last about an hour……
I find it difficult to keep the button and trigger pressed at the same time.
Plus the wheels keep falling of after some use…..
