I bought it to trim box topiary and I’ve just had my first session with it. It sort of works … in that if you persist long enough you will get the trimming done. But it’s just not very good. It’s hard to describe but it’s basically like shaving with a really blunt razor. You have to keep going over and over the same patch, because unless it catches the stalks at precisely the right angle it just lets them slide under/through/round. So the job takes much longer than it should, because you have to keep trimming the same areas to get them smooth. And that hurts your hand, because it’s a two-button safety system which needs you to maintain a vice-like grip at all times or it cuts out. Your hand is aching pretty hard after 20 mins of that.
So yeah. Should have bought the Bosch. Buy cheap, buy twice. When will I ever learn this immutable law of the universe?

Item is a good size and weight and seems to be reasonably good quality- attachment fitting is a little tricky. The grass trimmer is very easy to use. I haven’t tried the shrub trimmer but it looks like it will work well..

Had to return a previous set not this brand as it would had broken my temper trying to put them together 😊 these are much easier to set up and battery light indicates when fully charged which is great . Ki haven’t used them yet but seems sturdy enough. Happy with the purchase and were bought to replace an old set. Used for tidying grave and smaller gardening tasks edging etc.

Very handy nifty little gardening too, does quite well, pruning the bushes and shrubs, power really good and lasted well and did the job I needed to do, used well to remove all the weeds growing in the cracks of the flag stones, mainly why I decided to purchase this item, came in for my use quite good will use this all the time, when needed, different attached tools is a added bonus and most easy to change and the protective sleeve is a must and very strong, would recommend.

Was an extremely reasonable price and works a treat at edging lawn and trimming shrubs – has two separate attachments for each job.
Easy and quick to charge. Blades come with safety, protective covers.

Great for hedges and bushes very easy to use and cuts through foliage and wood very easily is much quicker than pruning shears for instance , would definately recommend thanks
