I didn’t expect much from these sharpeners, but they actually work surprisingly well. They attach easily to a drill, and within seconds, my mower blades were noticeably sharper. It’s a simple design, but it saves me from buying new blades as often. The material feels sturdy, though I’m curious how long they’ll last with regular use. They do wear down a bit after a few uses, but for the price, they get the job done. Definitely beats struggling with a file or paying for sharpening services.

Had a really old blade (2nd hand mower).
Put one of these in my cordless drill, fell apart, screw came out…I think speed was too slow (was at max, but it’s an old model). Think too much friction, so it unscrews rather than sharpening. Didnt get sparks. Added a washer and tightened and switched to 240v drill. Big difference, sparks (wear those goggles) and seemed much happier going up and down the blade. See pictures. Was sharp (and hot) enough to cut my finger. Took 10mins to both sides from both directions.

While it certainly does the job, it requires a bit more control compared to an angle grinder, which can make the task somewhat more tedious.
Using this sharpener with a drill does take some getting used to, especially if one is seeking a finely sharp edge. It may not be as quick as an angle grinder, but it does ensure the blade is sharp enough to facilitate easier cutting. I used the first one but broke within 5 mins. The second one worked as advertised. Very light pressure required when using I believe that they will not last long

Good job there was 2 in the packet as the first broke tightening it into the drill.

Really poor quality and both grinding stones broke within a few mins of use. Used with an 18v cordless drill to sharpen my lawnmower blade.
The problem is that the grinding stone it attached with a really cheap screw, that fits to the inside of the shaft. Even with the smallest bit of pressure the screw comes lose or shears off.
