I used Flymo as a teenager doing my parents lawn. I remember that being hard work. Although my new garden is small, maybe 30 square metres, the Flymo was simple to use and done a great job. It was simple to assemble. It is a reasonably good quality product. Easy to adjust height with the spacers. The lead was long enough to reach the end of my garden, 10M long. Its not loud and hovers wellon a flat lawn. So far, great lawn mower for a small garden and great value for money at the discounted price. Recommended all round.

I had a much older version of this which I gave away. Which is sad as I feel it was a lighter, more agile and thus easier mower to handle. I have come back to the brand as the metal blade is far superior to the plastic bladed versions, even those by the same manufacturer. It has enough power for a small lawn area and grass that isnt overly high. Having said that, there is adjust ment on the blade height to give a higher/lower cut height. When running this is relatively manueverable, but it does need more upper body and arm movement than the lighter, older versions. So arguably weight is a hinderance to this machine being for everyone. Build quality seems sound, though I question the longevity of the fixing method for the metal handle. Each side of the handle fixes to the mower body by what seems to be a plastic plug that pushes through the handle and into the base unit. Mine have popped out repeatedly on moving the mower sideways as part of the action of mowing. The flex seems plenty long enough, but then each garden is different. So do expect at some point to need an extension lead. There is no provision for the storeage of clippings with this mower. It mulches well with dry grass, but do expect longer and or wet grass to ball up and look a tad messy. The obvious answer is to keep the lawn short and mow when dry.

Only just used for the first time and really happy with this small lightweight lawnmower. Does it’s work perfectly. Good price paid. Easy and nifty to use in smaller gardens.

It’s a neat little Hover Mower, ideal for short grass ( lawns ) longer grass would require a more powerful electric motor. Its very easy to handle, lightweight, decent cable length , has a metal blade for durability ideal for small garden and will help keep the length of your grass under control without much effort

Ich habe mich für diesen Mäher entschieden, da ich ein Grundstück mit starke Hanglage habe. Die flachen Bereiche mähe ich mit einem Benzinmäher, für die Böschungen war dieser Mäher gedacht. Die Lieferung erfolgte schneller als angegeben und das Paket kam unversehrt an. Nachdem ich den Mäher zusammengebaut hatte, musste ich mich erstmal über den UK-Stecker ärgern. Ein Adapter war nicht dabei. Zum Glück hatte ich noch einen Stecker im Lager, den ich schnell angeschlossen habe. Nachdem ich dann den Mäher eingeschaltet hatte, musste ich mich erneut ärgern. Von einem Luftkissenmäher kann hier nicht die Rede sein. Das Gerät hebt keinen einzigen Zentimeter ab. Die Schiebekraft ist genau so hoch, wie wenn man den Mäher nicht einschaltet. Weiterhin ist das nagelneue Messer so stumpf, dass man mehrmals über die Fläche schieben muss, bis alle Grashalme abgehackt sind. Da ich für meine Böschung keine andere Wahl habe, werde ich den Mäher behalten. Für ein ebenes Grundstück würde ich diesen Mäher keinesfalls empfehlen.

Needed to replace a Flymo mower so I got this one. Such a mistake! Really heavy and does NOT hover at all! It is by far the worst mower I have ever had! Will be getting rid of it and only had it since last summer.

Positiv: Hält was er verspricht! Super leicht Führung über dem Rasen.
Negativ: Motor überhitzt sehr schnell (vielleicht liegt’s an unseren sommerlichen Temperaturen?) Habe die Haube etwas modifiziert – Motor bekommt jetzt mehr Luft und überhitzt nicht mehr!

I read reviews and was swayed by a glowing review from a consumer magazine. Putting it together was made difficult because the cable from the handle to the motor was too short, this means the cable runs straight down and has a slight pull against it. But the whole thing is held together with plastic pegs, so getting a replacement is pointless because I don’t expect it to still be in one piece after a year or twos use. It does the job of a hover mower as expected so three stars not one.

Bei der ersten Benutzung kaputt gegangen, würde wenn ich könnte 3 MINUS Sterne geben. Ausserdem wird das Teil nicht für einen EU Üblichen Stecker geliefert
