The media could not be loaded.
Item arrived within 48hrs of ordering. Everything in box was in good condition aside from series of holes on underside of handle. This is cosmetic and doesn’t affect product. Nothing in box comes secured in styrofoam or taped down. Goggles arrived in one piece, arms are also adjustable.
Strimmer easy to assemble with just three parts to attach, not including blade options or battery. Batteries needed charging which took roughly an hour.
Took strimmer for a test run by decapitating some stinging nettles that have appeared directly outside my kitchen door. Used one of the long saw blades which easily cut through the nettles. As nettles were roughly a meter tall, they were cut in half then cut from base. Strimmer also easily cut some poplar suckers that’s have appeared in random spots in the garden.
So far, strimmer is working but will update once it’s gone through an entire garden clear up.
Update 15.5.25- Its day after strimmer was delivered and I have given it a proper run on some tall grass. Short video posted. Fully charged battery worked for continuous 30 minute run. Strimmer shuts off when battery dies. Takes roughly 3 hours to fully charge dead battery. So far I have no complaints. Was very conflicted about purchasing a battery operated strimmer even though I had borrowed one from a friend that was much bulkier. This was a good buy and reasonably priced item that’s doing its job. I do suggest being mindful of stones or any other hard surface as metal blade tips warp. I’ll have to assume plastic blades will snap.

Good buy, ample supply of various metal/plastic blades, 2 rechargeable batteries and charger. Lightweight with extendable handle.
Good for small, light cutting. Heavier cutting batteries tend to run out but as long as you fully recharge both and keep both batteries beside you to change over, its all good.

I bought this strimmer just over a month ago. It was easy to assemble and the first time I used it, it did a very good job of clearing some thicker ground weeds, using the metal blade. The 2nd time I used it, after about 5 minutes on basic grass borders, smoke started pouring out of the motor, which was overheating badly and I had to stop to let it cool down. After letting it cool, I tried again but the motor continued to overheat and I had to give up. I thought I’d give it another go at the weekend and this time smoke was pouring from the motor almost immediately and the top section with the battery also started to overheat and smoke near the handle, which was really concerning, so I certainly won’t try using it again. Given the price point, I wasn’t expecting the strimmer to last a lifetime, but I would’ve expected it to at least last a couple of seasons. Very disappointed.

Great tool and easy to use 2 batteries are a bonus. I wish I had bought the same tool with 1.5 ampere batteries which would be better for me for the use it will get and a bit cheaper too. All depends on how much you will use the tool..ok for my small allotment. Lots of accessories and and a tool kit/ bag supplied.

Overall it was a great buy for the low price and for the small patch of long grass it did the job perfectly adequately using the big blade. It was powerful enough to cope with the length of the grass as long as you take it slowly chopping down from the top. The blade did choke up a bit but lifting it up for it to regain momentum did the trick. Didn’t test the other smaller blades. Cons – the battery is more likely to last about 15 mins only but a lot depends on the load on the motor. The glasses arrived broken but as I had some pro ones the supplied ones were only fit for the bin since they were so flimsy. The instructions were very pretty poor but it was really pretty easy self to put together Yes it was a good buy anyway

This is a fab bit of kit! I have a large garden and a petrol strimmer that i just cannot use when hubby is away. I was looking for something light and easy to use. This has some bad reviews so I was skeptical but at the same time, I desperately needed to find something to do my garden (I got quoted £500 from a gardener!). So I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. It works really well and is light and easy to use. One of the batteries wasn’t charging so I contacted the seller – they responded almost immediately and sent a new battery out the same day. Overall, great product, great customer service.
