At last a good quality product, no more snapping plastic wire breaking when you hit a small stone. Sturdy well built,worth the money.

Very well constructed with a wide range of cutting blades. Adjustable handle length. Used it for strimming normal grass around steps and pathway edges and the metal cutting blade for clearing a large amount of over grown weeds of all sizes. Very effective. Easy to use and lightweight with an acceptable battery life. 2 batteries supplied so there’s a back up if you need to do s big job. Easy to assemble.

I was a bit dubious how effective it would be given that it’s price. But it’s excellent, lightweight and easy to use. Came with 2 24volt lithium batteries that last very well. Instructions are a bit lacking, and the blade doesn’t have anything on them to tell which way to put it on. When assembling the blade, and the blade is facing you, point the direction of the tips of the blade anticlockwise. Now, when in use be careful of the blade as its effectively a circular saw on a pole. The metal blade is great for taking on brambles and thick trunk weeds, but be mindful of grass as it will pull it in and jam the blade, personally I remove the battery before attempting to pull out the grass that’s jammed the blade, for extra safety. I’m pretty sure that it’s powerful enough to take some fingers.

This is quite a complicated tool to put together. The instruction manual illustrates 4 different ways you can do it wrong, but clear instructions about how to do it right? Forget it. It may be clear in the original German, but “stuck points”? “stitching lines”? The diagrams are also so tiny that you would need a microscope to see them. I have wasted a Sunday afternoon looking for a manual online. It seems to exist in German and Spanish, but not English – even though the German manual promises the English at page 28. There isn’t a page 28. Now losing the will to live.
