The case has a narrow seam and this split on first use. Another one I have has lasetd well but has a wider seam, but is unavailable at he moment for the size needed.
Never returned anything to Amazon before as usally my error in sizing etc.
Poor quality and not up to protecting anything with this defect.

This was easy to test and use. It has a good seal which is easy to open and close. I use it mainly to read my kindle when relaxing on the water but it could be used to hold and protect things like keys, watch, phone etc if they are being used in or near water. The kindle works as normal once inside and it is completely waterproof. Very good value for money.

I am basing this star rating in proportion with the price and the expected value. For what I paid and the job that it does it’s exactly what I hoped for. I bought two different waterproof pouches from two different brands on the same day. I’ve tried them both and I can say now comparatively that this item does the job and is exactly what you would expect. For the price it was a good deal. It seems to be durable enough. I don’t feel like it’s going to accidentally break easily or anything like that. It has been 100% waterproof protection in the rain but I have not submerged it. It fits inside of this unit without having to remove the protective case I keep on my iPad. And to my surprise the touch sensitivity still works really well. The main reason I bought this is I work in the rain a lot and when my iPad screen would get wet it wouldn’t register touch anymore. However when I have it in this pouch and the screen gets rained on I don’t have any problems that works great. The buttons are still accessible but you have to use a little intention because they are inside of a pouch.

Did its job for a year, then the plastic split. And not on the seam where you’d expect, either! I can recommend it provided you don’t have high expectations for longevity. Particularly if your tablet is on the larger/heavier end of the range this is advertised for, as mine was. Check it over before use, in my case the split in the plastic was small so could easily have been missed with unfortunate results.

Testé en étanchéité dans un évier en submersion : le papier mouchoir est sec au bout d’une demi-heure d’immersion.
