Given it a 4 for now – not the simplest to put on but not impossible. It looked like there were no bubbles but taking the cover sheet off revealed bubbles which wouldn’t come out, it’s not too bad when the screen is on though. Not sure how long it’ll stay stuck around the edges, doesn’t look great already. It feels great with the pencil though, so much better than pencil on the regular screen

If you follow the official help video on youtube you will not fail to apply the screen protector to the ipad, there will be no bubbles and the screen will be applied evenly on all sides. Also you have to do it in a daylight with minimum dust in the air, and closed windows if it’s windy. I managed to do it dust and bubble free in my bedroom. If you have bad eyesight I assume you have glasses so you should put them on. Face the screen to the window as the dust speckles are visible in the reflection of the daylight. Watch the official tutorial video and follow it step by step. Ignore the negative feedback. I cannot review the longevity yet and the price is substantial, £17 per one film makes it most expensive, so for now I’m giving it five stars and time will tell.

Problemlose Installation, langlebig.

Considering I’m pretty much almost flawless with all screen protector installations for all devices and materials, I struggled the most with this.
Firstly, compared to the ESR paperfeel version, this is so much better. Closer to a matte screen protector. Doesn’t distort images.
However, for the price you pay — you’d expect better installation.
1. The backing is waaaay too soft and floppy. Because the ipad is large, it’s harder to get the installation right. It’ll bubble any way you do it. A stiffer backing would have helped by 100%.
2. They could have added installation guides. It’s big. It’ll flop around. You need one end to anchor the screen protector. Have a look at ESR’s way. It’s flawless.
As a result, I absolutely messed up the first one (ended up distorting the film) and then the second one had a billion bubbles, it took all of 3 seconds before I had to redo it and mess it up again.
I would only really repurchase. this if the installation has been improved by adding the two things mentioned above. It’s like driving a manual Mustang with the highest horsepower but you can only really drive a Honda Jazz automatic. Unless you’ve got magic hands or palms the size of an A3 paper, you’ll struggle.

I’ve bought loads of screen protectors in the past and have had great experiences with others but these have had to the worst. I followed all instructions but the quality of the protectors were terrible, it didn’t apply as easy as it said it should have, the stickers that were provided as ‘guides’ stopped just dont work. Once you try and apply it, you get bubbles, you try removing the bubbles and then the protectors is full of scratches. Tried again with the second protector and exactly the same issue. Simple, do not get these. Worst screen protectors product I’ve ever got. Waste of money.

It’s a nice product but is very difficult to fit due to the steps involved being quite fiddly, small bubbles being impossible to remove, and it being very sensitive to dust. I lost both in the pack trying to fit it and always found something wrong like small bubbles or one speck of dust.
I did try it briefly even with the bubbles and it’s very nice to write with and definitely works well with fingerprints and glare, but it doesn’t stick to the screen well. If you catch the corner with your nail it lifts it off very easily.
Overall a nice product with a good concept, but not usable and I wouldn’t recommend given the price point.

I managed to do the job in 20 mins, leaving one tiny dust particle in, but it is not visible at all once the screen is on. Patience is required but absolutely worth the effort.

Paperlike is Always the best.

Writing on the iPad after installation is better than before. However, I still see my face on it, which I don’t like.

I have had three different Apple Pencils as the iPad has evolved but never used them to the full extent. I really wanted to use my iPads for note taking but did not get on with the feel of the pencil on either native glass or a laminated screen protector. I considered paying out for a Remarkable device but decided to give the iPad one more chance.
I have an iPad Mini so decided to bite the bullet and try a Paperlike screen protector with it, mindful of the issues people have raised. In short, it worked and I liked it, used in conjunction with a Logitech crayon.
More recently I decided to do the same with my iPad Pro and so far, I am very pleased. It gets used for recording random ideas and I find this much more intuitive than many of the typed notes and mind map apps that are available; I am using Goodnotes for the most part and doodling is a significant element of note taking.
I do not find the textured surface to be detrimental to video playback or graphics apps, I have not noticed any significant reduction in quality, in fact it could be the poor man’s nanotextured display with the advantage that you can replace it – I understand that a Paperlike protector should last around 18 months. I have noticed that the screen is less reflective in direct light so from that point of view it is more friendly on the eye.
The only thing I feel I need to do now is find the optimum tip for the Apple Pencil.
Regarding issues with application…
I have been fitting screen protectors of all types for over twenty years, even so…
****ENSURE THAT YOU WATCH THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO****
and follow it to the letter.
Otherwise, so far so good.

Expensive product impossible to test properly because you cannot get rid of the bubbles during application. Frustrating and a waste of money!
Amazon Customer –
I really like this screen protector, I just wish it was easier to apply.
It gives a lovely Matte, which means that there is almost zero reflection or glare on the screen which is what j wanted. I don’t use the pencil so I can’t comment on the writing feel.
Well worth the cost.

Put this on my very first iPad, that I’m using solely for art!
The drawing feel is a whole world better!
No slippery ass zero control, foreign, questioning if I can actually draw…
Their customer service is awesome also!
Very prompt response and super helpful!
The only NOTE I can make…
(**THISI IS 100% NOT A COMPLAINT!!***)
Be aware that with the awesome “paperlike” feel you will sacrifice a little bit of that iPad unreal Retina display….
BUT!!!! If you’re using your iPad for drawing, art or really anything where you want good pen control and feel!
**1000% worth that small sacrifice in my opinion!**
Also, don’t listen to the folks that say it’s crap and impossible to install… do yourself a favour, watch the video, maybe 3 times. And you’ll do great!!
Plus, it’s a two pack! So you can try twice!!
Love it! Can’t say enough great things!
