Mervyn –
Good quality product and reasonably priced
Ritchie M. –
All labelling and writing is clear and easy to read. Smaller than expected which is good. Has both UK and EU plugs.
c.s –
Does what it suppose to do.

When this arrived it had a European plug rather than UK so is unusable without buying a converter. Waste of money.

Ok

Inexpensive 12 V charger. It arrived in a battered and tatty white box wrapped in a plastic bag. Not a great start, but it was never going to be a gift item. The charger is a standard sealed unit, unbranded, CE marked, three pin, but is not identical to the one shown in the picture. The cable is an underwhelming 90 cm in length, but at least the strain relief connections seem OK as they’re likely to get some use unless you have an extension lead.
Hooked up to a voltmeter it delivers a steady fraction over 12 V, centre positive, and the male connector fitted into the various female sockets (of the same diameter) I tested.
However, careful reading of the tiny print on the back of the charger shows that it is NOT 2A, but is in fact a 1A unit. This is disappointing and means it may not be suitable for charging certain items. Buyer beware. The box states 2A, but I have to assume that the plug is correctly labelled.
If you are after a 12 V 1 A charger this will probably be OK; at a fraction under a tenner it is reasonably competitively priced (though there are less expensive units sold by Amazon).
If you need a 2 A charger look elsewhere. This isn’t.
NOTE: I’ve just checked a couple of other reviews – at least one other shows a clear photo of the underside of the unit and it clearly states that these are 1 A chargers.
