This was to replace my missing external Blu-Ray writer power supply, and I have to say it fits the bill perfectly.
I have bought a few in the past but none have had the correct connection plus, therefore as I didn’t know the correct size it has been trial and error.
Finally I have one that fits like a glove, and to cap it all it charges loads more other items, such as my daughters portable CD Player which she is more than well pleased with.
It is very simple to use, basically plug and play, most items we use nowadays are 12v and this has done me so far, one downside I would say is that whilst it is fine for most things, with it only being 12V Dc 1A, you may find that it doesn’t have quite the kick that some items need, as I said that wasn’t an issue for me as it powered my writer no problems.
Also I have found that most of the power supplies lately seem to have short plugs or possibly far too long ones so they don’t go into the devices very well out hang out too much, this one is absolutely fine and to cap it all if I lose this one I now know which fitting I need to get in the future so no more trial and error for me.
Would I recommend it, absolutely, as it does far more items than one would think, and personally I don’t think you could go far wrong in just having this as a backup.
