My daughter loves horses, so she was asking for a rocking horse for her 8th birthday. I am glad that this horse is not rocking because my daughter loves it so much, she takes it to bed with her! The horse is sturdy enough to be seated on and makes various noises, so definitely Best Buy for us.

It arrived with a stirrup broken so I had to sew it back on before wrapping for Christmas. It’s very noisy, no volume settings, but my child enjoyed sitting on it. Because it doesn’t rock or move she got bored with it fairly quickly and it is mostly ignored now. My child is 6, she is quite light and it is fine for her size.
