I got a chance to try one today, after a walk on the beach. I walked barefoot and got sand stuck to my feet. I filled it with powder and per instructions, patted the penguin to release some talcum. What I liked was, it was easy to use and soft on the feet. It removed a lot of sand, but not all of it, especially the stickier sand. This is about the same as using a towel, but more fun for the kids, so great to take with us to the beach. I also like that it is washable.

Cute, but not useful.. You can’t put them on like the picture shows with your hand extended They would fall right down your arm. There’s a little pocket for your fingers, but it’s too small. Your hand doesn’t fit in comfortably. I don’t believe they’d be effective to clean off sand.
They make cute puppets, or as a little case with a zipper.
There’s a zipper compartment for, idk.

Works as intended with talcum powder
The only thing is that if you got the penguin the backside where it’s all black will get all white from the powder
But other than that, it works fairly well at taking sand off you (check the video as the lady does a really good job of demonstrating how to use it)

My family likes to go to the beach in the summer and sand is always a nuisance to deal with. These pouches are cute and soft, my kids like to use them. I don’t know that they work that much better than a large towel but given the design my kids enjoy using them, so that’s a win for us. At least they are small and don’t take up much space.

I finally got a chance to put this sand remover to use over this past weekend. We went to the beach and the kids got tons of sand all over them. I will say this did a pretty good job of getting the sand off their bodies and faces. It does not work so well on sweaty faces covered with sand though. My son was in the sun, sweating, building sand castles and running around. I was able to use this to brush off most of the sand but the last bits stuck to his sweaty face did not come off after using this a few times. I do like the face that it comes in 2 sizes, one for my toddler and the other for myself or husband or for bigger areas like your legs or back. It is convenient that it has a little strap so you can secure it to your hand so you don’t have to hold it while your brushing sand off. I will definitely continue to use this in my beach bag moving forward. It is really soft too, almost like a microfiber but seems softer.
