It is compact for travelling and ok for a baby, but it wouldn’t be strong enough for a toddler. I like the little bag it came with and the extendable bucket is very handy, but the spade is weak, a thin plastic.

Got these to take to Mexico for 2yr old granddaughter and she loved them! Easy to pack, didn’t take up much room, very light weight, took to beach daily, they come in their own bag. Had loads of fun with these.

The bucket and toys are fine. The spade bends so much in wet sand, it’s unusable for making sand castles.
