Bought two, for two young boys….
These spades were bought, because I realised they were cheaper than when you buy the plastic “single use” spades at the seaside- so to be fair…… I felt, like so many before them,…..they would not be coming home.
And they did- they took a hell of a lot of abuse- digging trenches, being goal posts, being light sabres and dragged from hotel to beach & back, for seven days in Skegness, then a jaunt to Aberdovey, and they are still alive! Well made, robust, and good design too- do a good job &v didn’t cause injuries… (when actually used for digging!)

My sons first metal spade. He does have a heavy foot admittedly but I feel the blade could be a tad thicker as it bends quite easily.
