Bought this for a cruise where the drinks package was just too expensive. Also bought the nano adaptor so I can use it with nespresso capsules. Got it set up and running in less than 5 minutes! Perfect espresso (we love Caffe Borbonne Capsules) with a rich crema! Brilliant little gadget, easy to carry and best of all, simple to use!

Bought this this as I travel for work a fair bit, and want to make sure I can enjoy a good coffee in my hotel room when I’m away from home. The build quality is solid, the size is about a bit taller than a can of coke and the full shot you get from it is lovely! The guide tells you to preheat the unit by running one cycle just with hot water, but if you’re necking the espresso quickly, don’t bother. Drink it while it’s got that nice crema on top 🙂
When you first try it, it’ll take a bit of time to get it all in the right order and follow the instructions, but after 3-4 uses you’ll be pumping out an espresso in no time. I’ve only had it a week, so can’t say how well it’ll hold up, but seems like a solid unit. I’ll probably pick up the nespresso adaptor just to reduce the inevitable mess of grinds from filling and cleaning, and a hard case might not be a bad shout (although if you pack it in with a few pairs of pants in your suitcase/pack that should be plenty padding). Quality is as good as the espresso machine at home.

Well, this is nothing like espresso. It produces acid, lukewarm coffee, despite me following the instructions literally. It is nicely built and a good idea, but, sadly, if you like your espresso or capuccino, this is not going to make anything like what you are used to. A shame.

Geniale kleine Kaffeemaschine, die nun in meiner Küche die Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine ersetzt hat, da mir das Ergebnis besser schmeckt und kein Müll entsteht, außer Kaffeepulver. Die Nanopresso ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Die Reinigung ist leicht. Die Crema sieht gut aus der Kaffee schmeckt lecker, wobei das natürlich stark von der Sorte, der Röstung und dem Malgrad zusammenhängt. Insbesondere bei letzterem muss man am Anfang etwas rumexperimentieren. Es darf weder zu fein, noch zu grob sein. Ich habe mir noch das überteuerte Barista-Set zugelegt, um mit dem größeren Wassertank bei gleichbleibendem kleinen Pulversiebe einen Americano zubereiten zu können. Funktioniert super seit einem halben Jahr.

Les machines avec broyeur intégré sont immondes à entretenir, surtout en usage collectif, avec un goût qui se détériore rapidement. Ça occupe un espace fou, ça ne rentre pas dans votre sac à dos, il faut une prise électrique, etc. Les machines à capsules polluent, et je n’avais pas besoin d’avoir 30 000 expressos différents. Je voulais juste un expresso, toujours le même. Ici, pas besoin d’électricité, transportable, facile à nettoyer, ne se partage pas: pas besoin d’être d’accord avec les collègues sur l’entretien ! Je pré-commande d’avance toutes les futures versions améliorées, merci de considérer ceci comme un bon de commande 😋. Le résultat est un expresso assez dense, moussu, avec une belle couleur, et un bon goût. Petit truc en plus: elle ressemble aux marteleurs Fremen, je suis sûre que cette machine a inspiré Denis Villeneuve 😂 dans Dune. Comme ça vous avez aussi un objet collector. Attention aux vers des sables 👾. PS: si vous êtes une mère de famille débordée, une Dolce Gusto fera bien mieux l’affaire ! 🤟 Pour les loubards, les indépendants et les créatifs, c’est la machine à café de votre vie. Utilisez vos pouces et vos deux mains les premières fois (il fallait bien que vous vous en serviez un jour 😝👍).

I bought this to use while travelling on holidays. Easy to assemble, requires a fair amount of hand dexterity and strength to pump – one shot takes around thirty four pumps. The coffee is great. The process is slow. If you are making one shot for one person, then it is fine. An additional shot will take long enough to set up and pump that the first one will be too cool for most tastes. Build quality seemed satisfactory, without striking one as of a quality to justify the price. The item I had soon developed a pump fault and was returned for a refund. In all probability, I will buy another of these before travelling again, unless I can find something a bit faster and somewhat better constructed.
